Is your windows up-to-date? Looks like it doesn't recognise the USB-to-IDE controller. HAve you tried to plug it in a different USB port?

People are required to have a hotmail (or msn) account in order to access Microsoft Connect...

When booting, choose "Enable VGA mode" from the list and then adjust the display propertied once in windows. The problem is your monitor, not being able to display the resolution / frequency set by windows.

It's more simple to just export the registry. To do so, open up regedit, right-click on My Computer and select "Export".

What make and model? Is it managed? Also, are the IP addresses static and in the same class and subnet mask? Same workgroup / domain? Are there any servers running on your LAN?

You can use ResHacker and look for msgina.dll, logonui.exe, ntoskernel and a few more that I don't know but I'm sure that someone here will give you the full list of files.
