  1. Looks like a DNS issue. Make sure in the TCP/IP properties the right DNS server is set.
  2. Update your sound drivers. This is a driver-related issue.
  3. D/-\mn!!! I didn't know that... Am going to do it right now! Bye-bye hotmail!
  4. Is your windows up-to-date? Looks like it doesn't recognise the USB-to-IDE controller. HAve you tried to plug it in a different USB port?
  5. People are required to have a hotmail (or msn) account in order to access Microsoft Connect...
  6. The best bet is to do what you already have done: contact the manufacturer / writer of the software.
  7. 1024 x 768 @ 85Hz But I've got a 19" Philips CRT running 1280 x 1024 @ 85Hz.
  8. Try plugging it as slave in a pc and boot up.
  9. I have the card I posted above (but it's the extreme version) and compared to the one ripken recommended: GPU clock: 600 (mine) - 500 (ripken) RAM clock: 1600 (mine) - 1380 (ripken) pixel pipelines: 12(mine) - 20 (ripken) So, it's up to you computerMan. @ripken The difference in the number of pipelines annihilates the difference in clock speeds? PS. I had the 7950 GT Extreme for a very short while, sold it for a (little) profit B) I don't see any difference in gameplay on Rainbow Six:Vegas. I'm using the same settings for both cards.

  11. When booting, choose "Enable VGA mode" from the list and then adjust the display propertied once in windows. The problem is your monitor, not being able to display the resolution / frequency set by windows.
  12. It's more simple to just export the registry. To do so, open up regedit, right-click on My Computer and select "Export".
  13. How typical for M$
  14. I didn't know that either Have to buy you a beer cluberti...

  18. Why would you want to use that obsolete explorer anyway? Try IE7, Opera or Firefox.
  19. Your cables should look like this: http://www.ertyu.org/steven_nikkel/ethernetcables.html. But from what I see your cables are ok, so the loss must be in the switch. What kind of switch is it? What make and model? Is it managed? Also, are the IP addresses static and in the same class and subnet mask? Same workgroup / domain? Are there any servers running on your LAN?
  20. You can use ResHacker and look for msgina.dll, logonui.exe, ntoskernel and a few more that I don't know but I'm sure that someone here will give you the full list of files.
  21. Thanks faf4life. You can use Seagoe UI but what I really want is transparent background and just small letters. Thanks again. I will pm you with an e-mail address where you can send the file(s).
  22. I didn't set any networks in VMware... Tried using a flash drive, but Vista doesn't like it
