I believe that since you had norton on your system, there might still be traces of it in the registry, etc... And we all know that norton is a resource hog.

I did that and get 54 errors of the same thing just a different number, here's the error im getting: Memory error detected! Pair 66089263 does not store values correctly. Memtest has detected that your computer cannot accurately store data in ram. You need to fix this. I hope your new stick is still under warranty. Take it back at once and ask for replacement because it is faulty.

Take out the 2 sticks that you had and leave ONLY the new stick. Run memtest.

Check your new stick with memtest. I bet it's faulty...

Mine used to go that high during intensive games, now I've got the cooler in my sig and CPU idles at 25 Centigrades with a max of 45 Centigrades in games.

As ripken said, get the OEM version. There are quite a few stores now in Romania selling Vista.

As prx984 said, it all depends on what you expect from your network. If you plan on transferring big files over wireless LAN (and you have the money), then hell yeah, get the n-standard router. If it's only for internet and small transfers, then a g-standard router will serve you just fine. Out of curiosity, why do you want to change your router anyway?

I know Nero does burn dual dvd's as I burned quite a few. Is your dvd burner dual layer? What kind of dvd burner have you got?
