  1. You can try Dial-a-Fix to re-register the dll's.
  2. You can NOT have the same IP address set in WAN and LAN sections of the router. They *must* be different.
  3. It depends if your mobo supports core2duo.
  4. Outpost Firewall Pro or Comodo.
  5. 73 centigrade is a bit too high... Try to replace the thermal grease between the CPU and its cooler.
  6. Looks like a cooling issue to me (although I might be wrong). Did you check the temperatures in BIOS after a turn off as you stated?
  7. I voted for IE7, as that's what I'm using ATM. If you`re careful where you go and what you do while on the internet, I don't think you'll find yourself in a tight spot.
  8. I just downloaded it....
  9. Hello Crow23, welcome to msfn The issue you are having is due to malware infiltration in your system. Run a full antimalware scan on your pc as soon as possible.

  12. Isn't it more simple to double-click on the icon on desktop?
  13. Try redownloading the package from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;DisplayLang=en

  17. Or you can use Tcpview from Microsoft to see what processes connect to where and what ports they use. Tcpview.exe
  18. @3aces Although he admits he is using a non-legit copy of vista, the problem he is facing is not related to the operating system, it is either a msn messenger issue or a connection issue. He wasn't / isn't asking / giving details about cracking vista. Please don't be so jumpy next time. @Nepsyde Is your connection to the internet working at all? In msn messenger you have the option to set up a http proxy, have you tried that? And last but not the least, next time before posting here, please take 1 minute to read the rules. Thank you.
  19. Ryan, I had the same issue on my wife's pc which is using windows xp. She never used media player and after update, it came with the same error as yours. I remember I had to clean every media player 11 entry in the registry and reinstall wmp11. It works flawlessly now. I think the error was because she never used windows media player before the update.
  20. Just give him a bottle of warm milk and a pat on the back after Just kidding.... Your baby`s ok. EDIT: Don't forget to change the pampers every once in a while
  21. It's not due to the drive being S-ATA.
  22. What do the details say? I would copy the previously mssing files from a sp2 disk.
