    Help Needed

YUK!!!! Stay as far as possible from Norton Anti-Virus. Huge resource hogs and the protection they offer is... well, next to none.
  2. I'd say that is caused by your mouse, but that's just an assumption. Try using a different mouse.
  3. Toshiba support search came up with this: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su...modItemList.jsp Don't know whether it helps you as it's listed under XPSP2, not x64.
  4. Hi guys! Does anyone know where to find the x86 drivers for Vista for the above mentioned chipset? I googled, turned the internet upside down with no success. I also signed a petition to C-Media, still nothing Any / all help is greatly appreciated. Cheers, nitro
  5. Set your pc for a complete memory dump, archive it and upload it somewhere then come back here with the link to it. If you are not sure how to create a full memory dump, please read this: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=90244. Good luck.
  6. I'm a bit confused.... In the title you say one can convert it from Enterprise to Ultimate yet in the post you are talking about Enterprise to Business! Slip? Also, the key you installed it with won't let you transform it (and I'm sure this falls under the incidence of rule #1 of msfn...). Although interesting, I believe you should read the rules before posting. Cheers.
  7. I'd like to help, but that file is 15 megs in size
  8. I beg to differ... Although there are games that just plain won't run on 2k3, most of them will run just as on XP (whether natively or set up in compatibility mode). Next time please do not affirm something that you didn't try, evaluate or had your hands on
  9. Have you tried to install them in Compatibility mode?
  10. I can tell you that Gigabyte mobo's are rock solid, have been using them for own pc's for the last few years, none died on me. Good overclocking possibilities too. As for the price, I don't know, I don't live in UK....
  11. Is that warez or I didn't have enough coffee yet?
  12. Guys, you have too much time on your hands... EDIT: Edited as per Idontwantspam's correction
  13. Just found this and applied.
  14. I totally agree with you Zxian, I'm using IE7 and no antimalware packages. Running every once in a while a full antimalware scan, nothing found yet *touch wood*. My setup is as follows: DSL router ---> Router ---> pc running antimalware software on linux ---> switch ---> multiple pc's.
  15. Are you able to go on the internet at all? (Might sound as a stupid question seeing that you posted here... )
  16. Also, you'll be better off if you remove Norton from your system.
  17. Download Dial-a-Fix from here, install it and run it.
  18. As 3aces said, for that money you can get yourself a new mobo, CPU (if you already haven't got that to go with the new mobo) and graphics card on PCI-Express. You'll definitely see the difference. EDIT: @ripken, you beat me to it
  19. regedit & Ctrl + F to find them, Del to do the rest
  20. eyeball, check what ripken and bonnestone have said. I do have a socket 775 board (see sig) and it own't take c2duo and there are no BIOS updates available either Fitting and working is not the same.
  21. Definitely a codec problem.
  22. Uninstall it, download a newer package and install that.
  23. I'd try to *not* post about Hiren's boot CD as it's warez, and that's not well regarded here...
  24. How do you connect to the internet? Cable, DSL, DUN, Wi-Fi?
