  1. never new that one... thanks - this looks exactly what he needs too..

  3. Thanks for the awesome list guys! I like that WinDirStat app!
  4. I think your problem may be with the way you're routing the connection to the system. Have you tried coming straight out of the FIOS to your box during the 'normal' time when it does offline?
  5. Interesting... DHCP should be Automatic I would think unless you changed something. I have my server service set to disable as it can result in vulnerabilities within Windows, however I suppose you may need it with DSL I don't know. Glad ya got it resolved..
  6. Thats what I thought.. didn't want to say anything though due to overwhelming response that Windows has this capability. I would imagine that there is a GPO or something within AD that can be set to achieve this. I'll dig around...
  7. Thats why I'm suggesting to plug straight into the modem. If I was you I'd contact your ISP or modem vendor instead of asking around on the forum and hoping for the correct answer. Call the people who support the software and the modem to get your problem resolved.
  8. Well then... I stand corrected...
  9. Thanks to everyone! Awesome theme.
  10. Is this a new setup or just a new problem? I would try plugging straight into the DSL modem and trying to get online through it first to verify your connection is good. If not, contact your ISP.
  11. Cool program!! Thanks for the link, I think it has potential too... need more themes though.
  12. Uncheck 'Use Only For Removable Disks', set the path to D:\.
  13. Are you sure you've slipstreamed the correct driver for you disks and mb? If its asking you for the driver just to get to the dual boot screen something is jacked obviously, have you tried reformatting all disks again and trying it?
  14. I also don't know of a way to ENTIRELY password Outlook. There is however a way to password protect archives. I'd suggest moving all the crap you don't want anyone to see into an archive and pw protect it
  15. I too would lean towards the router, I also have cable and also have a similar problem with my connection dropping. Although mine drops completely until l reboot the router. Is the router firmware up to date?
  16. I like to use the Tweak UI Power Toy provided by M$ for this.
