Agreed. Although the windows updates arent necessary, they are highly recommended. If you only want to install vital updates, then just install microsofts critical updates, and leave out the optional ones.

I guess all you can do is try it Create a restore point before hand, incase some things bugger up, you can roll back to before it screwed you over No, it has nothign to do with Style XP. It simply replaces all the system files with new themed ones.

I say you back up all the files you want to keep, and just throw it on the new hard drive. It'll be alot better that way. Probably easier too

My XP CD Installs: Adobe Reader 6 Divx Codecs + player Daemon Tools Google Toolbar ISO Buster MSN Messenger 6 Norton Anti Virus 2003 Nero Burning Rom 6 Partitian Magic 8 Winrar 3.33 NVIDIA Detonator Drivers + all hotfixes/updates etc. Thats all at the moment. I still have about 200mb of space on my CD, and im lost for idea's of what other programs to put on it. I tried slipstreaming my OfficeXP CD, and make a Windows DVD, except my OfficeXP CD has some files missing (which is very strange) so i cant complete the slipstreaming process.

Actually, i can go you one better than that. Go here: http://www.MSFN.org/unattended/xp/officexp...xp_advanced.htm About half way down is what your looking for (creating the mst file)

Do some searching for an administrative or Network installation. It takes you through the setup process letting you select only the componants you want installed, and creates a .mst file with these details. I dont have an exact link on how to do it, but im sure you'll be able to find it.

I havent even started. Nobdoy has given me any suggestions as to what they want in the next version. I'm not going to add any more major features to the program. I set out to create a program to complete a purpose, and i feel that this program acomplishes that and more. So any updates to the program will be minor updates. Things such as bug fixes, adding a few more windows componants, a few more reg tweaks etc, but the overall design and functionality of the program will remain the same. If you have any suggestions or ideas for a new version, please let me know.

Perhaps setting up the internet connection on only the users you want, individually? Im not sure if adding settings like that by group can actually be done. Unless perhaps you place the shortcut in a folder, and set the permissions on that .. but i dont think that will work .. unfortunatly, there is more than one way to access the internet.
