  2. I already have that option. It's called "my girlfriend"
  3. extract the .DLL file from the compressed version (WINNTBBU.DL_) and replace the origional on the CD aswell. put them both in your i386 directory
  4. xcopy /R c:\file1.txt c:\windows\ XCOPY = command /R = overwrite files C:\file1.text = source file c:\windows = destination
  5. I made a thread a few days ago asking people what features and what tweaks they'd like to see in the program. All the ones listed in the thread were incorperated into the software. If you have any more tweaks, i'd love to see them
  6. Logitech Quickcams are pretty cheap. I got mine for about 100$AU 18months ago. I can only assume the price has dropped since then.
  7. Its hard for me to write a help file, because i programmed hte thing. I know exactly what everything does If you'd like to write a brief one, i could elaborate on it, that way it comes from a users perspective Even just a short FAQ, and i'd be glad to include it in the program
  8. Check out the desktop PCs on that website. Is it just me, or do they have little LCD Screens build into them displaying stuff? Now thats cool.
  9. Thanks for letting me know. I figured i may have made a few errors with the quotes, because when programming, to make a quote apear, i need to use chr(34), to tell VB.NET that im not entering a string of text. So its hard to see if i put them all in the right places Ill give the program about a week, and roll all the fixes into one update. Keep posting!
  10. So you want a dacing footy player in a racing car singing pop songs on your new sig?
  11. Hrm ... good point. Considering this is a NT4/2000/2003 forum, i think its safe to say he isnt using XP I overlooked that bit
  12. Go to Start --> Help and Support A window will option presenting you with many different options. Under the "Pick a Task" subheading, there's an option that says "Undo changes to your computer with System Restore", click it. From there, just follow the prompts!
  13. I also just noticed that when you set a default driver in the configuration script thingy, and click "Select defaults" in the program, it gives you this error: Run-time error '13' Type mismatch
  14. Meh .. im too lazy to change the graphic on the webpage
  15. Just keep in mind that you're only as old as the woman you feel.
  16. pr0n .. everyone loves pr0n!
  17. Let me just say that i love the program, i did since the beginning, exepct the only problem i have, is the timeout timer thing. Why in god's name is it a 12 hr clock? I set the timeout for 2 minutes, and it comes up with 12:02:00 AM
  18. you probably dont have .NET Framework installed That is correct. You do need the .net framework installed for this program to work. Easy. File --> Exit You can add your own registry tweaks on the Finish page. Just add which ones you want to the bottom (or the appropriate section if you like having them grouped), before you press the create button.
  19. Maybe you should look at hiring a new light and sound stage hand.
  20. New avatar and sig for me too. I just want to steal your spotlight Tinker
  21. After a long wait of nearly 4 weeks, i've finally got my act togeather and finished off the program. Here's what's new in Version 2.0 22/9/03 - Updated next version screeen 22/9/03 - Fixed a few more bugs 21/9/03 - Added Regristry tweak generator 14/9/03 - Added more variables in the help section 13/9/03 - Fixed a few bugs, aligned a few things more properly You read it right folks. This little beauty of a program now generates your registry tweaks. All the hassle of manually creating a winnt.sif file, and the nasty process of stumbling around the net looking for tweaks, is now competly automated, and rolled into one program. You can download this program from The Winnt.Sif Program Homepage As always, if you have any questions or suggestions, either post here, pm me, or drop me an e-mail, and ill try to reply as soon as i can. Cheers guys! Enjoy! Note: Many thanks goes out to Paul for helping me with the website. I couldnt have done it with out ya, cheers mate.
  22. It should state either on the OfficeXP Package, the manual inside, or the EULA (End User Licence Agreement) which appears before you install the software, what the licence for the software does and doesnt allow.
  23. Very nice idea. I'll help you program it if you like.
