  1. They are bloody thongs! Nobody in Australia calls them flip flops. You know what i noticed the other day about my thongs? They dont have reverse. You try to back up in thongs, and they just come off
  2. Version 2 was released a month or so ago. You can grab it at: http://www.MSFN.org/users/b0r3d/
  3. Paul385 and Nephilim have already created a program that does exactly what you're asking for. I personally use it myself. Its called XPES, and im sure if you search the forums, you'll find a download link. The best thing about it is, its fully customizable. You dont need to know any programing code to customize it to the programs you want. Just edit the ini file associated with it, and Bob's your monkey.
  4. Being a 56k user, i cant actually download that file, unless i wish to not use the internet for 3 weeks while it downloads. So could someone just tell me what happens?
  5. Perhaps a vbs script to click the okay button would work?
  6. Are you using any firewall software on your PC? If you are, check the settings. If you're not, its possible that a firewall somewhere else between the net and you (ie at your ISP) is blocking animations. I'm using Zone Alarm Pro on my PC, and it has the option of blocking animations.
  7. to delete a directory, first you need to delete the contents: DEL C:\Deleteme\*.* Then, use the Remove Directory command RD C:\Deleteme
  8. Luna actually has 3 color schemes. Blue, Silver and Olive I myself have everything "Classic" except the taskbar which I have set to use the Luna-Silver theme. I am aware that Windows has thoes three colour schemes, thank you
  9. The logon screen is a little different. I *think* that the logon screen is located in a dll file somewhere. But i dont know what one exactly. Im sure when we find out, it'll be as simple as changing the bitmap using reshacker, and throwing it back in your windows drive. Just like the setup screens.
  10. It looks like you're using a dud switch somewhere. What method are you using to install your extra applications?
  11. I think its because you have the start /wait switch when deleting the asp.net user Remove that and it should be fine
  12. There isnt really much to do to care for memory. Once its in your PC, you shouldnt really need to touch it.
  13. try bjdotcom's suggestion first ahmedramzi, and if you dont get any results, ill give it a shot.
  14. I like the eyecandy which themes provide. While Luna is the new "classic" theme in my books, i much prefer to use other, better designed and not-so-blue themes.
  15. .theme files can actually replace "shell" items. When i get home (im at CISCO now), ill investigate it a little further, download it, and attempt to get it working for you.
  16. If you replace your uxtheme, then you shouldnt be prompted
  17. I'm not 100% sure about this, so someone please correct me if im wrong, but your drive letters go in alphabetical order from where they lay on your IDE Channel. Also, Hard drives are usually given drive letters before CDROMs and other ide devices. For example, say you have 2 HDD's and 2 CDRoms in this order: Primary Master: 1 HDD - C:\ Primary Slave: 1 HDD - D:\ Secondary Master: 1 CD-ROM - E:\ Secondary Slave: 1 CD-ROM F:\ Now say you partitianed C:\ into two partitans. It would move the drive letters down one. Primary Master: 1 HDD - 2 Partitians - C:\ & D:\ Primary Slave: 1 HDD - E:\ etc. Hope thats helpful.
  18. Just use a batch file to run the exe, and call the batch file from your winnt.sif file. Like this: In your winnt.sif file add: [GUIRUNONCE] %systemdrive%\Install\Theme.cmd In your theme.cmd add: start /wait %systemdrive%\Longhorn Transformation Pack.exe To make it install silently, you need to have the correct switches, which depends on what installer the pack uses. If you could post that information for us, i could be a little more helpful.
  19. Just assign your NIC with an IP at teh end of the IP Scope. like 192.168.0.254 That way the chances of another PC using that same Ip are slim
  20. hehe anytime btw, my blogg is better than yours
