I realize that you can add different wallpapers to show up on the desktop tab by placing them in the $$\Web\Wallpaper dir, but how do you set one to be default, instead of Microsoft's bliss.bmp (the one with the grassy hills) ?

Hey guys. Im going to write a guide on how to customize the look and feel of your windows XP, and add that to your Unattended XP cd. This guide will include details on the following. UXTheme.dll and Themes Wallpapers and Screensavers Boot Screens Login Screens If anyone could make my work a litlte easier and give me links to threads that have already been started in this forum on how to do some of the items stated above (such as wallpapers and boot screens) ill turn it into one big guide, and make it sticky. Keep in mind that there is no need for any links to the UXTheme.dll replacement, as AaronXP has that on the main website. Cheers guys. Note: This guide will only relate to things that are 'cosmetic'. That is, it will not include tweaks and tips for that kind of customization.

The program i use to fiddle with my server at home, from my desktop PC, without having to change pcs, is tightvnc. Its very small, very easy to install and set up, and im pretty sure it'll do what you're asking. Best of all, its freeware www.tightvnc.com

by installing one of thoes programs, it sets the .zip file extention to open with the new program by default.

Try chaning: UnattendMode=ProvideDefault to UnattendMode=FullUnattended That should do the trick

Winrar or Winzip are your best bets for an alternative for zipped files.

You're nuts. I cant believe that the third one passed for more than peasent goat excriment. Not excriment from one of thoes fancy goats that get lead to the abitoir, but one of the dirty, skanky, smelly, goats owned by poor people in third world countries .. or New Zealand. I personally think that i am now dumber, having watched that movie.
