  1. You've forgotten that we are on the Microsoft software forum and that explains a lot!
  2. Maybe instead of talking about violating EULA/s it would be easier to send email to MoCo with the question?
  3. Not only this one but some other Tihiy's threads vanished too! PuntoMX, is this crime and punishment? I'd prefer to see that moderators act in more diplomatic way.
  4. If you use Tihiy's tip, I'm prety sure that you'll install and run this version successfully (I've tested it yesterday for a couple of hours).
  5. Tihiy, as I understand this is exactly the same patch as the previous one but this time it will be acceptable for our moderators.
  6. Unfortunately, there's no we - that was made by Tihiy alone (as I presume).
  7. Yes, I guess you're right. They could change something in the code.
  8. I'm running as my default file manager great Total Commander (I've boughted it long time ago). It's easy because under files menu you have function - Associate with.
  9. Tihiy, one more thing: maybe that would be a good idea to demonstrate those screenshots to make Mozilla Foundation people ashamed.
  10. You're absolutely right! The reason is that you've more talent and of course devotion to the Win9x family! Fantastic effort, Tihiy!! Btw, how you achieve this: have you used KernelEx or in some other way?
  11. Of course, I've uninstalled the previous version. As the bug report: I'm afraid that they will not react because Win9x family aren't supported anymore.
  12. Interesting discussion about problems with 0.8.6e version on the VideoLan forum: http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=44727 http://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=44738 In fact this not that important because new 0.8.6f version fixed that problem!
  13. Can anyone confirm that this version works with Win98SE? In my case it looks it's been correctly installed - Firefox and Seamonkey detects plugin. Nevertheless, on the Adobe test page: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ the window is empty. Btw, download page is in a way misleading: Windows 98/2000/XP are listed as supported systems but when you click on the system requirements it shows Windows XP SP2 or Vista only.
  14. Latest version of Media Player Classic 6.4.9.1 (beta) from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=205650
  15. I agree with Rjecina: this motherboard should work with Win98 because as far as I know two mobos based on M1695 chipset (939Dual-Sata2 and 939Dual-Vsta) can run it.
  16. In the meantime I've tried KMPlayer but I've got message about runtime error (Microsoft Visual C++ library).
  17. Snob, I'm sure that you've seen that meassage on VLC page: Maybe they broke something in this release because this is strange that stable build doesn't work and nightly works. Thanks for the suggestion about KMPlayer - I'll check it.
  18. That was unpleasent surprise for me too because there's no problem with 0.8.6d version. But I was even more surprised when I have installed (just for curiosity) latest nightly build (version 9.0) and it works under Win98SE! Btw, Bleeder you can download latest release of Media Player Classic 6.4.9.1 from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=205650
  19. No, because I'm using revision 1846 from 5 February (clsid builds).
  20. It's great to hear that you're still working on that project (because I haven't seen you lately).
  21. Yes, definitely this is a combination of the Pentium III + Pentium-M in advanced technology process - 65 and right now 45 nm (with tweaks and improvements of course).
  22. MGDx, thank you for the solution - codec is working right now.
  23. Which version of MPC you're using? If 6.4.9.0 you could try latest beta from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=205650
  24. Of course you enabled a DMA mode for your HDD?
  25. Although I don't mind the spartan look of Win98, I'm really impressed by your project. Does your modification work with the localized (in my case Polish) versions of Win98SE?
