Say goodbye to UA spoofing, sadly. I tried to pass the info on how to spoof some new fingerprinting techniques, including HTTP2 to win32, but seems he doesn't visit MSFN again.

The invasion into Afghanistan had started in 1979. At that time, Eugene Kaspersky was studying at the KGB/FSB academy, the project "Kaspersky" was only in the plans, the software suite "Kaspersky" wasn't even released!

Force Windows XP to treat signed and unsigned drivers equally?
Dixel replied to LoneCrusader's topic in Windows XP
Yep, but Vista does. NT6.0 is more tolerant to non-MS certs. With XP one's gotta pay. -
Do you have any actual proof that McAfee works with NSA, or (maybe) it changes Windows system files like Kaspersky does?

How come you love Kaspersky so much, but don't know the server location can be selected? Or you want to imply Russia servers will go down, too? Or Russia doesn't have its own servers and depends solely on the West? Or Russia will again do something outrageous on 30.09.2024, so it will be cut off by the World powers this time completely? In every possible scenario you drew, Russia doesn't look that attractive. Please think it over, the boss might not like what you wrote, in the meantime, you can familiarise yourself with the text from Kaspersky support article. I took a screengrab for you.

Those were documented by @Ascii2. It very much seems you're trying to fuel the strictly AV topic into political debates, What do the "poor" Russia channels have to do with this thread? How many Western channels Russia allows to broadcast on its territory? Zero. So please, stop with the nonsense. Why are you so worried about Europe? I thought you were living in the US, not Europe, not anymore?

The risks simply outweigh everything else. No one would want to get their Windows files touched. Did you already read the detailed report by our fellow member? It's a lot of important system files Kaspersky modifies into the hell knows what!

Kaspersky modifies original Windows system files, not only it's malicious, it's also illegal in many countries, including the United States your page shows. It seems you've missed a very detailed report on that rogue activities. I understand the thread is long, so let me help you find it. https://msfn.org/board/topic/184730-antimalware-firewall-and-other-security-programs-for-windows-xp-working-in-2023-and-hopefully-beyond/?do=findComment&comment=1261215

Dixel replied to Mcinwwl's topic in Gamers Hangout
No wonder, they were sold mostly in the third world. Most importantly, they belong to the grey "market of unlicensed NES hardware clones emerged during the climax of the console's popularity". For example: "In particular, the Dendy (Russian: Де́нди), an unlicensed hardware clone produced in Taiwan and sold in the former Soviet Union". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_Entertainment_System -
Almost half a year later, I finally tried, unfortunately it introduced stutters to the gaming process.

Nvidia security update driver 475 arrived, but didn't bring anything new to the table in terms of comparability with newer games, it's still based on the old batch R470 from several years ago.

The same year it started, there was a bold move in a desperate attempt to try to disguise Yandex as a "private company based in Europe", but who would believe that? Source and explanations by Mike Eckel. And there literally are millions of sources that picture what Yandex really is, I'm only giving the one that doesn't include political statements. https://www.rferl.org/a/russia-yandex-government-control/32152249.html

Win32, hello, thanks for everything, please add the ability to customize HTTP2 data like header_table_size and window_size, etc. There's a library that already implemented http2 spoofing: https://github.com/Noooste/azuretls-client I assume you can use their code, I had also sent you a message with another idea, but you don't visit MSFN again....

Is there a chance you try on a totally clean OS? I recently had to help someone with a fresh install and tried several browsers there, all of them started waaaaay faster! I assume it may be a conflict with old software. You can also check and see, Chrome tries to load old codecs upon start. Look here: chrome://conflicts

Important, don't install SSU (KB4493730), even if it will be offered to you automatically. The above update KB4499180 installs just fine on a clean Vista SP2 (any edition).
-
Go with Vista, then, like you wrote in the beginning. No one these days will specifically target Vista. Install May 14, 2019—KB4499180 (Security-only update) (6003 build) it includes the most important security breach fixes and the ability to use the extended kernel, if you ever wish to try it. Install nothing else since all is already included in that pack! https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/may-14-2019-kb4499180-security-only-update-081acd25-afa4-fb15-2dc1-fefcece4325a
