Care to share, have you had any luck with Elden Ring or similar titles on Win7 + DX12 bypass? Thanks.

BTW, I tried a ported version 82, didn't like it at all. Slow, and the output files result in a very high contrast, supersaturated videos.

I Don’t Fall promises a Windows 7 Fix, too, but Requires Windows 10+ Genres: Arcade, Third-person, 3D

How can I boot as SYSTEM or with Trustedinstaller privileges

Wrong, go to NVCPL and open "system properties", 700 series only had 11.0, and 11.1 was probably advertised only as a software emulation. In all, a pure marketing gimmick. I'm posting this screenshot from EVGA SC 780 ACX V.2 (on updated chip GK110B), I found it in a dumpster a couple of years ago.

I suggest a replacement for the odd name. Undisclosed version.

Probably I missed, Is the CD drive fully functional? They do have odd issues when their grease is dry. I'm now lazy and lost interest in CD drives, but earlier I did a partial disassemble to replace the grease. Especially the area near and the parts around the lens. That said, you need to be very cautious with the lens, cover it with a piece of cellophane, don't let the dust fall onto it.

Sorry, not convincing, VPN, for example! "It (Kaspersky) blocks VPNs as well unless you use their own VPN." https://forum.kaspersky.com/topic/prevent-blocking-of-vpn-21565/

Kaspersky was developed in Russia/USSR, it can't be "ancient" by the very definition. It's not Rome. Will you finally tell us the version? It looks really impolite. Edit. We aren't going to hack into your notebook. I promise you.

A new development, a very interesting optimisation I seem to have missed, somehow. It's a very hot summer this year, I guess, Supermium adds a new flag: "revert-from-portable does re-encrypt the targetted profile and could be used for moving profiles without using any portable switches." https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/693#issuecomment-2198266351 Please post you feedback!

Most likely, you didn't notice (that's the idea!), Nvidia installer puts the file "recovery.bat" into Windows folder. It's not enough to simply delete the files you wrote about, read in the comments on that link. "Disable the service, restart computer, remove the registry entries, restart computer and then remove the telemetry folders and telemetry recovery.bat in the Windows folder." https://www.ghacks.net/2018/01/20/how-to-block-the-chrome-software-reporter-tool-software_reporter_tool-exe/ Or use the tool NVSlimmer (driver slimmer).

TCP Fast Open is neither related to the OP topic, nor Windows 7. You would need to ask on the link below. https://msfn.org/board/topic/184971-wip-windows-7-extended-kernel/page/
-
I second this, telemetry was introduced in 373.19. It even had a restoration file "recovery.bat" file (in case someone was clever enough to delete it).
-
Never had any good experience with it - except only one game - RDR2

I'm NOT arguing with anyone, I'm politely asking @IDA-RE-thingsto provide proof. @IDA-RE-things joined very recently, and already started to accuse our veteran member win32, counting likes, so yeah, looks like he doesn't have a real active project at MSFN, and this question should be addressed to him, not me. Edit: I don't "feel", it's written publicly, in plain text.
-
Here's the quoted post.
-
No I don't. @IDA-RE-things later wrote it was a joke about Chromium Team. But about win32 he was very clear and serious. Edit. Public accusations is indeed a very serious matter.
-
I quoted this post so @IDA-RE-thingswon't be able to edit it out. https://msfn.org/board/topic/185045-supermium/?do=findComment&comment=1268547

Is this the reason you recently joined the site? To find out who upvotes whom? Don't worry, win32 haters team is big, they'll upvote your anti-win32 posts very soon. I'm still waiting for your proof to arrive. Show us the parts of the code which you claim win32 had stolen from you, don't forget to include timestamps.
-
There is NO language barrier. I know English since I was 5. Probably better than you. @IDA-RE-thingsthings wrote very clearly: "He" (win32) took "my workaround for slow startup (I think borrowed), which I implemented before in my code".
-
This is a lot words, but no actual proof, So I thought.
-
This seems like a rather weak, desperate attempt to draw attention away from the main, serious subject. I mean the subject of @IDA-RE-things accusing our respected member @win32 and Chromium Team of stealing his code.
