  1. People need to realise - no porting will happen, just stock up on old hardware while you can. Next year it will be 11 years since they fully dropped Windows XP support. And still no ported/modded drivers exist.
  2. I can take a wild guess - the OS is XP, I fail to understand why not just leave it be, that member had been explained many times - there's no such thing as "DirectX10 on XP". Win32 wrote on github - everything in Supermium falls back to DirectX9 while on XP.
  3. I wonder would that fact include telemetry, calling home to the developer. Or a timebomb of some kind, even if not now, but maybe later? Stock up on it while you can.
  4. Obviously it would require a newer version of Windows because the minimum supported client for that function is Windows Vista. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/processthreadsapi/nf-processthreadsapi-initializeprocthreadattributelist
  5. Yes, @D.Draker is famous for helping people, especially with the modded Video drivers. I suggest you add your hardware IDS. https://www.wikihow.com/Find-Hardware-ID
  6. Dude, please do some proper research before posting. Chromium license has nothing to do with Supermium, Supermium has "progwrp.dll" (without it it doesn't work) - Supermium is *officially* a close source programme. https://github.com/win32ss/supermium/issues/309#issuecomment-1974917968
  7. Sorry, forgot the link. All Microsoft links are included on that page, too. Windows Platform: Updates Required Windows Vista x86 - Windows Vista x64 SP2 - Windows 2008 R2 x64 https://www.watchguard.com/help/docs/help-center/en-us/Content/en-US/Endpoint-Security/_kb-articles/sha-256-operating-systems-required.html
  8. No, you're wrong, please do some proper research before posting. For example, here's what WatchGuard tells us *officially*, I'm sorry for choosing official statements over your opinion. Kindest regards . "Update Required to Support SHA-256 Signed Drivers Applies To: WatchGuard Advanced EPDR, WatchGuard EPDR, WatchGuard EDR, WatchGuard EPP, WatchGuard EDR Core To keep security software up-to-date, the workstation or server must support SHA-256 driver signing. Some versions of Windows do not include this feature by default and you must update them£ "Windows Platform: Windows Vista x86 Windows Vista x64 SP2"
  9. Tortuga: A Pirate’s Tale Genres - Strategy, Tactics, Pirate/Privateer, Turn-based, Third-person, 3D Companies: Gaming Minds Studios, Kalypso Media This game requires Windows 10+
  10. Vista and Server 2008, they both support SHA-2 officially. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/2019-sha-2-code-signing-support-requirement-for-windows-and-wsus-64d1c82d-31ee-c273-3930-69a4cde8e64f
  11. Most post 2017 made hardware doesn't support windows 7. Someone gave me a new motherboard made in 2018, the CPU is always at 1800MHz, doesn't go fully idle. Standby doesn't work either.
  12. I wonder what will happen if I vote here, will I be automatically added to the "multiple" fake list, too? Probably I shouldn't anyway, as I don't use Firefox at all.
  13. I guess the reason for the public vote was intentional, so your fake accounts wouldn't be able to downvote D.Draker's excellent research, like you were begging to implement before. But hey, saying that Jaguarek62 is D.Draker's fake is especially funny, thanks for the laugh.
  14. This is not the reference edition I was talking about. Reference is slim, but long. https://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/7170/nvidia-geforce-gtx-980-ti-reference-video-card-review/index.html
  15. Probably a reference edition will fit in that case, I'd also recommend to look at Titan X, 980Ti. Both will work with XP by adding an inf string, both are not huge (reference, slim design).
  16. Hi, better edit out that edition name from the post, it's considered to be non-legitimate here.
  17. Good luck, don't forget to place extremely important files elsewhere, to another backup!
  18. But if you still insist there could be ordinary (1066MHZ), "officially" specced Hyper X found, please give us the link.
  19. So, it doesn't matter whether we, he, specified the exact part number, they all are ready to accept additional over-clocking parameters, and the manufacturer applied these in advance. So yeah, it's not just "marketing", even the lowest performing Hyper X is already over-clocked, to begin with.
  20. DDR3 RAM default clock approved and standardized by JEDEC is 1066MHZ only! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR3_SDRAM Everything else, including 1333MHZ is not standardised by JEDEC and considered to be over-clock, meaning it works out-of specs already.
  21. I was in the same shoes with that poor chap, soon after 1 year of warranty ended, files started to disappear, big files started to lose parts, like an mp4 video 8Gb in size. HDD sentinel didn't pick any signs of failing at all. I think most of us had encounters with that drive, I only had 2 of them, both in that infamous Apple boxes, both behaved weirdly and failed soon after. And no, it's not a server model, not suitable for a data centre. It's a very basic disk, consumer grade model.
  22. "ObviouslyI have my suspicion that this drive is faulty, which is strange because it isn't very old. maybe 1-2yrs maximum. " "So before I attempted to do anything in disk management, I opened up minitool partition wizard and tried to recover "lost partition" with no success. I then tried minitool power data recovery programme..." "csharpe1234, is your issue resolved? I am facing the same issue." "I had to accept that the drive was faulty and unrecoverable. I bought a new drive." https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/seagate-barracuda-st3000dm001-3tb-sata-not-recognised-in-bios-or-disk-management.1670124/
  23. I should advise against unnecessary manipulations with that 3TB Seagate DeathStar 2.0 @D.Draker already warned about. This could be fatal for that potentially weak HDD.
