Finally, someone posted as issue. Supermium is 30% brighter than the usual chrome, look at the first screenshot.
@NotHereToPlayGames, I don't know what you were measuring with that RGB software, it's seen to the naked eye.

The reason I suggested Win 7 RTM because the user is tight on space, and SP1 doesn't actually add anything useful, and esp. because he wrote the PC will be used for 1 one programme.
No, I don't. Policies are a moot point, they change in the upstream way faster than flags, they reset when you update the core, they reset with a new profile. They reset each time you move the browser onto another PC (like passwords, cookies, etc).
It's safe to emulate a processor instruction set, it's just a programme, but emulation is much slower than native execution so you probably won't like the performance.
