  1. I block in my host file as I recall 360 Chrome tries also to connect. 0.0.0.0 firebaselogging.googleapis.com 0.0.0.0 clientmetrics-pa.googleapis.com 0.0.0.0 crashlyticsreports-pa.googleapis.com Also 0.0.0.0 ssl.googleanalytics.com 0.0.0.0 click.googleanalytics.com 0.0.0.0 alt2.googleanalytics.com 0.0.0.0 alt4.googleanalytics.com 0.0.0.0 sandbox.googleanalytics.com 0.0.0.0 googleadservices.com 0.0.0.0 pagead2.googleadservices.com 0.0.0.0 www.googleadservices.com 0.0.0.0 googlesyndication.com 0.0.0.0 ade.googlesyndication.com 0.0.0.0 pagead.googlesyndication.com 0.0.0.0 pagead2.googlesyndication.com 0.0.0.0 tpc.googlesyndication.com I get the feeling this will never stop anytime soon.
  2. Still thank you as you lead me to this YT and look like free movies are there. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFzph9x-n9FR52BI94Zfgww
  3. WOW ... Thank you for the new site, I'd nver heard of it. https://www.gizmoplex.com/browse I was able to start watching a few movies without having to sign in with an account Works on both: Version 52.9.0 (32-bit) Build ID 20220415153127 And 360 Chrome V11 EDIT: Looks like I was too excited - only previews here for me and then blank screen?
  4. Hmmm ... I used to use QupZilla back in 'the day' but I see this new browser is only for win 7 and up according to Softpedia. From softpedia: "some of Chromium's API" - "leaving aside unnecessary parts like the auxiliary services which communicate with Google" ?
  5. On you mark.. get set... lets go.. LMAO!!! Gotta laugh sometimes, often, its too easy to be uptight and take self too seriously - sometimes laugh at the absurdness (or absurdity) that is life existence and circumstances; for we are here now and all trying to make the best of it, regardless of obstacles. Bumps in the road up ahead - for sure. Absolutely a little of both! You're welcome everyone for the free comedy - we'll be here all week - tip your bartender.
  6. You mean ... *Haha* funny or *straight jacket* funny ... =P I just wanted to say hello and thank you for personally reaching out to me. Means a lot and hope you will return and post again. You seem like a very nice person. My plants are my best company and I am my best company. Nothing wrong with talking to the trees and shrubs, they do hear us, you know. Ok! So .. Know why did the PowerPoint Presentation crossed the road? A. To get to the other slide Gosh, I actually took a class ages (and ages) ago on PowerPoint and never really got it. Does anybody even use that anymore? Man do I feel OLD.
  7. Haha ... I'm glad you have. I look like I've been run over ... backed up and run over again by a bus ... Tore Up from The Floor Up
  8. Sending well wishes to you and yours.
  9. Welcome and condolences. My dear father also left us in 2019 and I have many of his cherished items. I always remember when he came to visit me 2 times a month and we'd talk for hours and with my back turned, I can almost envision him sitting behind me in my red stool that use used to love to sit in and i miss him dearly and always in my heart.
  10. You're welcome and I hope somebody will help you with your question, sometimes replies take a little time. I also like to do the work myself without having to rely on 3rd party programs. Who knows what they inject out our systems. Good luck
  11. Oh ... I see, been trying to change but only have the white large theme to use and can't change it. I have also been using it, but because I don't really know what I'm doing, I'm a bit cautious during the development here. Thus far I like it, but still very slow on my aged hardware, but 'it is what it is'. Thank you guys for your hard work.
  12. Wow ... that seemed too easy, but it def worked - thank you for your help Now, I know my browsing habits area different from others, but I was able to only keep the following after cleaning everything (I save nothing) and the browser works (for me) with only the following needed folders to run (after the loader deletes upon close). Of course, I'm on V11 and its not the same as your V13. V11 runs on less for me and is slim, but I know not for everyone here. I created a fake [User Data\Default\Local Storage] leveldb empty file. For the record: The ONLY 3 files I DO keep are.. User Data\Local State User Data\Default\Web Data User Data\Default\Preferences
  13. Yikes, would you believe I didn't know that, I just copy the url from the browser. I am now reading about (the) nocookie (problem) and see other people talking about it and have several pages to read tomorrow. Beginning to think YT is just ugly ... ya think. Ugh TY for the 'heads up' though :)
  14. Will have to go back and read it seems and yes evil and bad, but what to do we need Chrome as FF is just not cutting it nowadays. I still use Serpent but many sited don't even load anymore that used to only a month ago and things are changing very quickly.
  15. Yeah, have those folder but I delete them, but they are still files being written and I monitor activity and 360 is sneaky. Still, no matter where I change my directory to, still have to deal with \360\User Data\Default\Service Worker\CacheStorage No matter how many times I delete 360\User Data\Default\Service Worker\CacheStorage comes up with new folders with hidden files and it remembers?!?! Just now after deleting manually ... I now have \360\User Data\Default\Service Worker\CacheStorage\34cb3e63b107e254e8d4b3457fe14a457b21be66\e974f12b-e70c-489c-bbb4-d128b8a35806\index-dir ... with a file that is named the-real-index and it comes back every time. If I leave the folder it will create the files, but if I delete the folder, it will create new folders. And: 360\User Data\Default\IndexedDB remembers exactly what I've listened to and watched. Of course, the loader will delete it but it comes right back and they indeed know. Not sure, but suspect this is the case with all Chrome browsers.
  16. Welcome to MSFN - I hope you find our forum helpful! TC :)
  17. Also would never do such. Besides, I get lazy and would forget my password if I did that. Lol.. Yes, I can confirm this as this has been (still is) the case with V11 and V12 (which i don't use) but not the case with V13 as there is no typing lag. I've not been able to pinpoint the cause, unfortunately. I put up with minor issues with v11 as overall its very good and look forward to the updates.
  18. Hope all is well with you and yours, just want to add that :)
  19. I'm sorry, I somehow missed your reply - thank you very much. For me, Peppermint OS and Zorin OS Are quite good. Manjaro was terrible IMO. For now, I only go with live sessions and remain with XP for the time being and use ArcticFoxie 360 Chrome and Roytam's Serpent and will hang in there as long as possible. Will likely keep XP even if online browsing becomes minimal and we'll see at that point what is the best option. Still not sure, actually. Just FYI.. Linux Lite has ditched FF and went with google chrome as their default browser https://betanews.com/2022/04/25/linux-lite-6-0-rc1-google-chrome If you need - V5.8 64 Bit https://osdn.net/projects/linuxlite/storage/5.8/ still uses FF.
  20. Wow ... we just posted at exactly the same time and we agree. V11 is the best for my situation, as well.
  21. Thank you. Just thinking as you guys were mentioning memory and 360 chrome and the versions compared. The most I will have open is 3 tabs - sometimes YT playing while on the forum and reading. The more tabs I have open impacts the video in other tabs, in fact, if I minimize the browser (even on V13) the audio doesn't skip, so that is one way if I need to use 13 to make it work for me.
  22. Hi.. Do you guys feel lthere would any benifit to enable the following chrome flags? Automatic tab discarding If enabled, tabs get automatically discarded from memory when the system memory is low. Discarded tabs are still visible on the tab strip and get reloaded when clicked on. Info about discarded tabs can be found at chrome://discards. – Mac, Windows #automatic-tab-discarding Emit small allocations in memlog heap dumps. By default, small allocations are pruned from the heap dump. This reduces the size of the compressed trace by 100x. If pruning is disabled, the chrome://tracing UI may be unable to take or load the trace. Save the trace directly using chrome://memory-internals, and use other mechanisms [e.g. diff_heap_profiler.py] to examine the trace. Note that automatically uploaded traces will always be pruned. This only affects manually taken memory-infra traces. – Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android #memlog-keep-small-allocations Thank you :)
  23. Terrific news! Looking forward to your updates and thank you for your work.
