  1. Welcome to this here forum - MSFN :)
  2. Sorry Missed your introduction and wanted to also say hi from North East USA. You said its OK to say anything in this thread and I have a few things I"d like to say RE being on the spectrum. If course, I'm certain you already know this very well ... its (this conflicted) society that tells us what is considered to be (and not be) awkward. I think what you said is so beautiful and said very well: Without my (so called) illnesses (diagnosed by narcissist medical professionals) , I'm not sure I'd made it this far when deemed "damaged goods'. While I'm not (officially) on the spectrum nor Autistic, I feel quite passionate towards so as I'm a TBI [Tramatic Brain Injury] survivor and have Chiari brain malformation as a result from dating back to childhood. Some might also consider myself to be awkward in social settings (no argument there as I fully admit I DO have social phobia) and out of my comfort zone, but I'm also very keen in other way and my eyes area 'wide open' and I'd like to think I (we) have good intuition and common sense. I feel sorry for people that are uptight and fall prey to the brainwashing and are conditioned with 'eyes closed", has we are not followers when we discover that we have to figure out our own walk to make it through this life. Not saying people that go with the flow are followers, just stating that its not an easy life to go against the grain and fight the (so - called) Normal expectations . I'm looking forward to reading more from you here. Welcome to MSFN EDIT: Sorry, but I needed to edit that mistakes and add more information because I consider this to be very important and not to be taken lightly. Thankfully nobody said anything until I went back and caught my errors. Errr ... sometimes (all the time ... lol) I'm in brain fog city.
  3. Welcome to MSFN - hope you find our forum helpful. PS: I *still* play my cassettes a walk in public (proudly) with a walkman attached to my belt. I've recorded many into MP3 files for my (offline) mp3 player. Even if I had a smart phone I'd never allow them to see the music I enjoy. See ya around the forums
  4. Same - Fine on St52 - try a new clean profile.
  5. Just want to make double sure - your last updates to all your builds are from early January? Trying (struggling) to keep up here with what is going on. I never know whats going on to begin with anyway ... things happen around me and leave my head spinning. Kidding; or am I?! Sometimes I feel like just a pretty face around here, no brains (or brawn) but all beauty. A curse I tell ya
  6. Yeees!!! People have become spoiled to everything being fast and instant gratification rather than people lack patience nowadays, to me anyway, and missing out on the "experience" XP lolol.....:)
  7. sad we now talking about tolerating the new operating systems. I find it disturbing, as well. Not all things am I put off by from the new generations, some good changes, but, overall, miss the past and that isn't good to be stuck in a time warp. Sorry, hope that made sense and will edit afterwards if I can make a bit more sense. Again, sorry.
  8. Hard sometimes to deal with fatigue. Just as a side note: Be cautious about looking forward to the end of the day or "completing' your day(s) 10 years went (flew) by so fast at the blink of an eye and you can't get it back - 50 is less that a year away. Try (hard, I know) to not miss out on even the smallest of bright spots, sometimes seeing somebody walking or running with their pet makes you realize the dog it (actually) walking the human - or both. Try to listen to nature - the birds - ocean waves (if you can find) or look at fish ... nature never lets you down when seeking comfort. <OT> Hmmm ... wonder that average lifespan of a blobfish
  9. Haaa ... that is just wrong on so many levels :D
  10. The weather is getting nice ... so we've opened up the patio outdoor section to all. Enjoy your weekend everyone :)
  11. https://theweek.com/michigan/1012908/a-black-cat-named-jinx-was-briefly-the-mayor-of-hell On Sunday, Jinx — a rescue animal from California whose hundreds of thousands of followers on social media can't get enough of her unusually large eyes and feet — became the first cat to serve as the mayor of Hell, Michigan.
  12. My word @roytam1 - all that couldn't have been easy to pull off - very impressed and thank you so much
  13. I (truly) hope not - hopefully roytam can still keep it going for a little while longer :(
  14. Oh, some of the grumpiest older people are the very people I would rather seek advice from ... so no worries and I'm afraid (and hate to admit) not only is the only warranty I void, I've removed the tags from all pillows and mattresses ( they're coming for me for sure now ). Thank you both @VistaLover and @UCyborg for helping a fellow grumpy blobfish with his endless and (sometimes/often times) silly questions. I will try to leave things alone, but I'm always like, *if I push this button, what does that do*. Ya know, sort like like kid with the cookie jar Now when I press the rewind button on my universal remote control the garage door opens and closes - seriously looking forward to future Serpent development by Roytam.
  15. The last I see: Development in the tri-core Avant browser ended in 2020 News Avant Browser 2020 build 3 Released 3.17.2020 Have used that one in ages, but if I recall, it used the native IE version you already have installed and the FF and Chrome were way outdated even back then.
  16. Hello all! Do you guys feel there is benefit to leave the pref: plugins.rewrite_youtube_embeds at its default "true" ? Yes, I understand I'm likely one of the few here still trying to watch videos in the browser without Polly Fill ... just figured I'd check to see what others think whether or not it could slow things. Thanks in advance
  17. https://fishingbooker.com/blog/9-scary-fish-to-haunt-your-dreams/ 9 Scary Fish to Haunt Your Dreams Edit: I Feel bad, guys, for all my mistakes today (typing / grammar / stuttering repeat wording), but I won't correct them so as to be (always) genuine here. I'm just me. Honestly, I'm struggling pretty badly today with just about everything and bedtime can't come a moment too soon for me. Tomorrows a new day. I'll be fine so worry not. Think I'll be offline for a while and focus on recovering this week. Take care.
  18. Sorry, been using it today and (of course) I was mistaken blue in the address bar it is for now. Lol Am I using the right version? Version: 1.0.0.127 I've done what I can do with the and flags, but can't seem to find a way to disable plugins (or even see them). Getting better, but I have to trust others as I posses very little chrome knowledge. Very responsive, just, to me, a tad odd looking compare to others I've used (Iron, Vivaldi, Superbird, DC Browser and 360), but I don't care, will get used to it. Heck, the new Firefox is very ugly to me from what I see. Upward and onward. EDIT: There's the problem right there - I must be possessed Daemon blobfish or something; I guess. 2nd EDIT: For now, I hate to have to say this, but I'm going to back out. It would seem its just not compatible with my ancient computers (this optiplex 745 ... mostly original factory hardware and Dimension 3000) so I'm limited to V9 and V11. Honestly, I'm I'm lucky these junkers don't catch fire or blow up on me. Still hooping success for everyone using it :)
  19. Thank you very much - appreciate everything you have done and continue to do for the community.
  20. Mercy me, it is actually May Stuck inside for too long and sometimes you lose track and days blend into each-other. Ugh. Ok: Think February likes March? No, but April May
  21. K ... The reason(s) I prefer your V11 over anything else at the moment (again, at the moment, can change) is because videos play steady. Sorry guys, I don't know how to properly test but V11 is (overall) better. For the record, V12 is terrible and should be abandoned unless we see others using it, worse lag in the url bar than 11. But, again, but; the typing lag (delay) that @Anbima is also noticing can take some getting used to - have to type slower - it promotes relaxation and patience Lol! also the occasional missing vanishing text - I close the browser. Oh well, not biggie, for me anyway. Again, I know things will change and one day V11 and Serpent will be totally useless so I'll worry then. V13.5 is fine and I would certainly use any update (13.6) as its solid, just need to make sure nothing else is running to use it on my slow-azz molasses system. Ya feel me?
  22. Same, with the dark theme, blue color is not that good IMO. I don't mind blue, elsewhere, just not in the address bar location to have to see ... so for now, I'll stick with the white theme. Wish this browser didn't look so chubby.
