  1. Wow ... that seemed too easy, but it def worked - thank you for your help Now, I know my browsing habits area different from others, but I was able to only keep the following after cleaning everything (I save nothing) and the browser works (for me) with only the following needed folders to run (after the loader deletes upon close). Of course, I'm on V11 and its not the same as your V13. V11 runs on less for me and is slim, but I know not for everyone here. I created a fake [User Data\Default\Local Storage] leveldb empty file. For the record: The ONLY 3 files I DO keep are.. User Data\Local State User Data\Default\Web Data User Data\Default\Preferences
  2. Yikes, would you believe I didn't know that, I just copy the url from the browser. I am now reading about (the) nocookie (problem) and see other people talking about it and have several pages to read tomorrow. Beginning to think YT is just ugly ... ya think. Ugh TY for the 'heads up' though :)
  3. Will have to go back and read it seems and yes evil and bad, but what to do we need Chrome as FF is just not cutting it nowadays. I still use Serpent but many sited don't even load anymore that used to only a month ago and things are changing very quickly.
  4. Yeah, have those folder but I delete them, but they are still files being written and I monitor activity and 360 is sneaky. Still, no matter where I change my directory to, still have to deal with \360\User Data\Default\Service Worker\CacheStorage No matter how many times I delete 360\User Data\Default\Service Worker\CacheStorage comes up with new folders with hidden files and it remembers?!?! Just now after deleting manually ... I now have \360\User Data\Default\Service Worker\CacheStorage\34cb3e63b107e254e8d4b3457fe14a457b21be66\e974f12b-e70c-489c-bbb4-d128b8a35806\index-dir ... with a file that is named the-real-index and it comes back every time. If I leave the folder it will create the files, but if I delete the folder, it will create new folders. And: 360\User Data\Default\IndexedDB remembers exactly what I've listened to and watched. Of course, the loader will delete it but it comes right back and they indeed know. Not sure, but suspect this is the case with all Chrome browsers.
  5. Welcome to MSFN - I hope you find our forum helpful! TC :)
  6. Also would never do such. Besides, I get lazy and would forget my password if I did that. Lol.. Yes, I can confirm this as this has been (still is) the case with V11 and V12 (which i don't use) but not the case with V13 as there is no typing lag. I've not been able to pinpoint the cause, unfortunately. I put up with minor issues with v11 as overall its very good and look forward to the updates.
  7. Hope all is well with you and yours, just want to add that :)
  8. I'm sorry, I somehow missed your reply - thank you very much. For me, Peppermint OS and Zorin OS Are quite good. Manjaro was terrible IMO. For now, I only go with live sessions and remain with XP for the time being and use ArcticFoxie 360 Chrome and Roytam's Serpent and will hang in there as long as possible. Will likely keep XP even if online browsing becomes minimal and we'll see at that point what is the best option. Still not sure, actually. Just FYI.. Linux Lite has ditched FF and went with google chrome as their default browser https://betanews.com/2022/04/25/linux-lite-6-0-rc1-google-chrome If you need - V5.8 64 Bit https://osdn.net/projects/linuxlite/storage/5.8/ still uses FF.
  9. Wow ... we just posted at exactly the same time and we agree. V11 is the best for my situation, as well.
  10. Thank you. Just thinking as you guys were mentioning memory and 360 chrome and the versions compared. The most I will have open is 3 tabs - sometimes YT playing while on the forum and reading. The more tabs I have open impacts the video in other tabs, in fact, if I minimize the browser (even on V13) the audio doesn't skip, so that is one way if I need to use 13 to make it work for me.
  11. Hi.. Do you guys feel lthere would any benifit to enable the following chrome flags? Automatic tab discarding If enabled, tabs get automatically discarded from memory when the system memory is low. Discarded tabs are still visible on the tab strip and get reloaded when clicked on. Info about discarded tabs can be found at chrome://discards. – Mac, Windows #automatic-tab-discarding Emit small allocations in memlog heap dumps. By default, small allocations are pruned from the heap dump. This reduces the size of the compressed trace by 100x. If pruning is disabled, the chrome://tracing UI may be unable to take or load the trace. Save the trace directly using chrome://memory-internals, and use other mechanisms [e.g. diff_heap_profiler.py] to examine the trace. Note that automatically uploaded traces will always be pruned. This only affects manually taken memory-infra traces. – Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android #memlog-keep-small-allocations Thank you :)
  12. Terrific news! Looking forward to your updates and thank you for your work.
  13. I do use the ungoogle version even though I use youtube, so go figure the conflict there.
  14. Pretty much the same ... I've only 2 reliable GB (one 2GB stick - one 500MB stick - one 500MB stick going bad) in my optiplex and only 2BG in my dimension (two 1GB sticks), so while I can use v13, watching videos is awful, so V11 is the reasonable solution. EDIT: So long as I'm not doing something that requires stability, I will put the bad 500MB stick in and put up with the memory issues, but both 500MB sticks are ancient and I'm shocked they will remember anything at all, while the one 2GB stick is reliable. Lol, sorry for the off topic ... at least I didn't start talking about the weather. Brain Fog up ahead I can see
  15. Yeah.. As its said: All of these lines across our face tells the story of who we are.
  16. Hmmm ... will have to give this another go then seems like.
  17. I use --disable-gpu (I never use hardware acceleration) - I was not aware of --no-first-run. Thank you EDIT: Sorry, was on Serpent and just fired up 360 V11 with that --no-first-run and it started right up quicker than ever before. My word, what a great suggestion. Plus, there is no longer the creation in 360\User Data a first run file (and upon close, it is no longer present), only local state file which I keep. Is that right?
  18. Yes yes! Having an issue with something is different than having "issues" has that latter implies there is something "wrong", where its not wrong (bad or incorrect) to *examine life*. It is good to question and even having a problem is not akin to having "problems", because, again, the latter has negative connotations. We needn't see ourselves as wrong; ever. We are not even designed to be content (by nature), we always question and (our minds) wonder (and wander), because that wonder can lead to change so long we recognize with change comes new possibilities and challenging circumstances. Remember, when you allow your mind to wander you are still in the drivers seat so be leery to drift into dark territory (very very difficult to do sometimes) and bring back to self and the present. Wonder and wander and you won't be "stuck". Even the smallest change can result in improvement. Look ahead, but not too far, rather, references the past but don't look back as its gone. Your life starts TODAY. I will write more later, but need to post this as it came to me and I feel its important as I'm hit a block (this happens to me often). Thank you for understanding that my writing can be (more than) a bit weird, because I AM (very) weird; without question. Off the wall nuts ... Ha Always laugh at your situation and you'll be laughing with you not at you. EDIT: Please accept my apologies as I need to edit this a few times to made sure its right and I will give more thought to the phrase "missing out" today. Enjoy your Sunday everyone.

Be kind to yourself - find love within and you'll never feel alone - you are not alone. 21. I don't know ... Lol! I reset user_pref("network.websocket.enabled and its gone, so I guess it was no longer active. I've been carrying those prefs around for a while because at one point I was told it was a security issue. I guess I'll decrease my paranoia and reset them their defaults. I trust somebody here would say something about that is it were still an issue on Serpent 52. I actually gave up on FF52.9.1 and only use it for testing now.
  22. Very glad you joined us. Laughter cannot solve your problems, it can DISSOLVE your problems
