  1. We've got this Lookout, folks, for the new and exciting 'all the rage' DC Browser to ever hit the planet earth (and perhaps beyond Lolol)
  2. I strongly recommend the *global* flags.. --no-first-run --disable-file-system --disable-gpu --disable-logging --disable-webg --disable-component-update --disable-background-networking --ssl-version-min=tls1.2 --enable-strict-mixed-content-checking --no-pings
  3. Please do let us know. It never hangs or crashes after I reset the profile and sometimes I have it going all day, but if not watching a movie, I keep sessions short. I'll admit, I have my profile pretty tight, alas lots of features are blocked (that way I prefer). Could you guys telll how you got the squares? Its not happening but I only have the English Language; I admit. We can do this so don't let others bully you away from it - its been a great browser just needs some LOVE PS: Buy the looks of things this morning (actually, every morning) my primary language is Gibberish. Sorry guys, I trued to correct.
  4. https://www.getafteritmedia.com/retro-live-feed Free classics on Retro-TV http://<iframe src='https://players.brightcove.net/6183977686001/default_default/index.html?videoId=6226400785001' allowfullscreen frameborder=0></iframe> Usually watch this ON Sundays and relax and try to imagine/envision what life must have been like then. I doubt I'd even have fit in back then as I consider my very presence on this planet to be 'at odds' with society. I'm ok, though and glad to be home and alone tonight with my Peace Lilly. PS: Sorry, I don't seem to know how to put in the code to make that player come up. Works on all UXP and DC Browser
  5. ... especially when the topic is religion and/or politics. Disagreements tend to dissolve when we realize the other person is being honest and sincere. I struggle with with regards to politics, hate to say it, but I can listen to anything and try to understand.
  6. I think so, too. You sound much better and I think you've come a long way.
  7. Welcome, Mayweather ... .I guess I'll need to put on my boxing gloves, but I'm sure you would be the clear winner. Hope you find our forum helpful and communicate with like-minded. -Mister Blobfish
  8. <OT> I hope you enjoy outing in the rain. May I ask why you feel unafraid outside in the rain? I used to always be out and the agoraphobia took hold of me. Hmmmm ... miss the rain. <OT>

  10. Same! No issues whatsoever. I didn't (and don't) use new tab page either. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for the same, but not holding my breath.
  11. I just realized we've not heard from @sunryze and @Nerdulater in quite some time. I was reading over my first few pages of the journal and reminded me of your pretense. When ever anybody stops by, that personal aura is still in here. I hope you both are also doing well and enjoying the peace and quiet; if possible. Anything exciting going on? Working hard - or - hardly working ... either way. all is good.
  12. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. I'll get there. Overall doing a little better but for the extreme weakness and brain fog (quite expected).
  13. Sad to say, that lizard has stronger calves and thighs than I do. I waled today, but not anywhere near as far as I'd hoped. Little steps. Take care and see ya tomorrow. Enjoy your weekend, all.
  14. WOW ... awesome to see but wouldn't want to be near it!
  15. I know not an antivirus, but this free tool from F-Secure is still working on XP. The F-Secure rescue DVD (linux) also still works but no def updates (of course) I think it was put to rest in 2018, but just going by memory. https://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/F-Secure-Easy-Clean.shtml <---This does not work at all now. https://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/Rescue-CD.shtml PS: To be honest, as far as recovery CD/DVDs, while F-Secure does work (with outdated definitions), I prefer Norton recovery CD which is still updating. I just tried it in fact. Boots to light Linux with another tool that scan S.M.A.R.T which reminds me I have bad sectors (have for quite time some, but still huffing and puffing along) Very old equipment here, so can't complain too hard. https://support.norton.com/sp/static/external/tools/nbrt.html
  16. I look forward to know what those reasons were/are. Did it cast you a 'pretty penny'? I have a few pennies that are pretty and shiny.
  17. do you know which version was the last to support XP? thank you in advance
  18. I was asking this also to myself. ?
  19. Day 4 (technically as far as time goes; its day 5 without the benzo). Now out of the woods I'm afraid. Very shaky but I slept hard and like a rock so that helped. Thank you for your support, means more than you'll ever know.
  20. I feel asleep watching a movie on the sofa. Meaning I feel asleep watching the movie, not the movie. Yeah, I woke a bit off-kil·ter; to say the very least. Will catch up in the AM Hope everyone is well and please never feel alone for anybody reading - we're always open 24/7 and the CaFÉ never closes. Hope to start walking again outside and it SO very pretty right now in New England. Be well
  21. I'm also fine if people refer to me as such, but I know some people do take offense. When people do that in public, however, I'm quite suspicious when people go "Yo" or "Dude" or "Bro". Online I'm fine, but I never call others that because I guess I never picked up that lingo even though I can mean a form of bonding. Even worse, is when people call me "Sir" I'm like .... do I *really* look that old. I know its about respect but another man says "You're welcome and have a great day, man" I feel that is right. But, what do I know.
