where do you store this laptop? how is the weather right now where you are? i had a very odd problem last summer when we had 99% humidity and i needed to use some laptops outside. both of them would not boot, but when i brought them into an air conditioned room they would work fine..

Yes, it really depends on what games you are playing. But you still have not answered my question. What do you mean by lag? And you say it only finished one time? What happened the other times? Did you cancel it yourself or did it freeze/BSOD?

I am confused as hell right now. Do you want to use computer fans or household fans? And do you want them to cool your computer or your room? This whole moving fans around thing makes no sense. If you want to move a fan around the room then get a household fan. If you want to put a fan in your computer then get a computer fan.

1. no real need to and i would not suggest doing so unless you are already familiar with overclocking, or if you want to take the time to research it 2. neither. also, the only OS that "supports" SSD is windows 7 and i highly recommend windows 7. and the rating does not mean much, HHDs are locked around 6.1 or so and you need SSDs to go higher. We do not know how SSDs will last. You will need at least a 64GB one though with windows 7 on it, unless you only want the OS on it then you can get a 32GB one. if you are willing to pay the price then go for it but you really do not need one. Do you need storage space at all?

i bet its overheating due to dust, open the case up and check how much dust is in there, if you see some, especially in the vents of the graphics card, then clean it out.

If it's just that server then the cheaper one will work just fine. Also keep in mind that you will only be getting like 10min of protection. So really the first thing you need to do is to figure out everything that you want to hook up.

it really depends on what you are using the computer for. for gaming, the video card matters a lot more. going from 3GHz to 4Ghz on the cpu will yield very small if any FPS gains. i do suggest a moderate overclock, for example to around 3GHz. but most importantly, what graphics card are you going to purchase?

6. I haven't seen a pc speaker on a motherboard in a long time. I highly suggest keeping one around though just in case you need to diagnose a problem. I have had to use one a couple times over the last few years.

well i doubt you are going to find a solution for this as this is a very strange problem. try resetting the router by holding in the small button on the back of it for a few seconds. this will clear all of its setting so you will have to reconfigure it to your liking along with putting passwords on. hopefully there is just some setting in the router messed up. otherwise you may have to buy another wireless router.

or just get rid of the shortcuts, they are useless imo, i just keep the one for library
