Hello I have a dell optiplex 755 running on windows xp sp2 x86. I cant install the SoundMax audio driver, its asking for the HDA Audio Bus Driver. I installed the the hotfix KB888111 from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888111 but nothing seems to work. I hope someone can give me an answer. thanks.

Try clearing your DNS cache C:\> ipconfig /flushdns You can also try resetting your Winsock (For SP2 and SP3 and you need local admin rights) C:\> netsh winsock reset
