well sometimes you need to fork out the cash if you really want something or if nothing else pleases you. if you could afford any soundcard, which would you buy?

the issue with that is that the themes need to fully support windows and not have bugs in them. and for MS to monitor that would be a huge PITA. then they would have customers going crazy about things not working. remember xp sp2? what more exactly do you want? lots of service is added to the new OSes in itself. what do you mean? and have you tried vista of win7 at all? and why use the windows burning program when there are many superior tools out there? you are able to change colors alot in vista and win7, and aero is pretty cool. but i do agree some more variety would be nice. and the web browser is updated, IE8... many vista beta testers were given vista for free. it may happen with win7 beta testers as well but that seems unlikely to me.

there is a way to set that parameter in the registry. but whenever i did some programs would not figure it out. i think there is also an option in vlite for it. but i do not think it supports win7 or not, you would have to check that out. or just do what i have been doing for years, when a program wants to install just tell it where to install, and install it on the second drive. i also changed the location of my documents and downloads folder. those will happen automatically after you change the location.

i'm glad that you liked it. if you burned a cd of it, make sure to label it and keep it around just in case. it has come in handy many times for me throughout the years. at times gparted can take a long time to perform some operations, it likes to verify/check things.

what price range are you looking at? also take a look at auzentech. they use the x-fi processor and put better quality components on.

cluberti, thanks for responding first, after i just wasted time looking for that quote you have. and i did not mean to make you feel bad, it's just the way you phrased your questions. many people do this for what you wanted to and knowingly break the EULA in order to save money, which is way i said that it is in a way similar to piracy. you will find this info just about anywhere that talks about technet which is why i thought you had an idea about it. i am sorry if i offended you.

i havnt defragged in years and now i have even less of a reason to do so. i reinstall windows a cpl of times a year anyways. all my data is stored on a linux server and its just backup.. who cares about defragging it, i dont need speed, it already transfers over 100mbps.. and my desktop just has my games/programs on it, nothing more. and my desktop is raid0 and server raid6...

there are many "web remotes" such as: http://www.playerpal.com/ and depending on your OS http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_Player_Daemon

i use gparted. http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php it supports usb and cd along with directions how how to up usb. it is also a part of many linux distros such as ubuntu, so you could even boot off of an ubuntu cd and run it.

dont just look at his gpu temp, look at the cpu temp. he needs to open his case and clean up inside, i bet there is dust or something else.
