why can't you use php? what languages are you able to code this in aside from VBScript?

well you can start by opening up your case and taking measurements. measure the length of your current psu and measure the extra space after it until it hits something. also measure for the max length of a video card that you can fit in your case, measure the distance from the back of the case all the way to where there drive bays end. then give the computer shop person the measurements and compare them to the new psu and new video card that you want to get.

well once you get debian installed onto it you can just vnc into it. there are some apps for windows that allow this but i forgot what they are called, just google for it, it is there.

does $memberDataArray contain any data to begin with? print_r the array to see if the info that you want is in it.

i would only suggest the 1TB for storage, i dont see the point really in using them as an OS drive. i have 4x1TB for just storage then some 640s for my different OSes. 1TB is cheap now anyways, they can be had for $100, if you can save up a little more then then get two hdds, one for OS, and another for storage.

speed. that's it really for me at least, as a desktop user. i will eventually have at least 2 of them in raid0 in my desktop along with a single hdd for storage.

and can it be added as a subforum yet? or must it be final for that to happen?
