Repartition Specifies whether to delete all partitions on the first drive of the client computer and to reformat the drive with the NTFS file system. Syntax Repartition = Yes | No Values Yes Deletes all partitions on the first drive and reformats the drive with NTFS. No Does not delete partitions or reformat the drive. Example: Repartition = Yes

does anyone have a solution to this? I am sitting with the MSI's but the standard switches don't work...(i need to somehow include my key)...any thoughts? **EDIT**: I found a solution that seems to work. I copied the same Abcpy.ini from my photoshop CS 2 installation and just changed the serial. Then did the normal MSI install with the desired switches. Seemed to have worked! **NOTE** If the machine has system restore off when trying to install, a warning shows up about windows media player (if using /qb switch, haven't tried with /qn). I haven't found a way to stop the pop up. If you have system restore on, no problems...

Hey all, its been a while since I have posted... Does anyone know how to register quicktime 7 pro unattended? I have looked in the registry for the obvious keys but I have had no luck. Thanks in advance.

I remember reading about this somewhere on here too, not too long ago. Although, with my utter lack of time-sense, it could have been 6 months ago and I wouldn't know it. I'll see if I can find it, and post a link if I do. Edit: There is a forum thread discussing it here. Not sure if this is the same thread I was reading before or not, and still haven't found a solution as good as the one I read previously. I will keep looking. Edit2: Found a few more threads discussing this, but nothing that strikes me as being the same thing I read a while ago. Most threads reference either one or a pair of programs, renuser and netuser. Another solution presented uses VBScript to rename the account. Just for reference, here are a few of the more detailed threads I browsed: Change administrator name Administrator account changing system parameters unattended Oh, and in the interest of complete exposure, I double-checked, and the method I have been using does not, in fact, disable the administrator account. Are you looking to rename the Administrator account specifically, or would creating a different admin user and disabling the Administrator account suit your purposes equally well? The method I use to install my Windows provides the latter, creates my personal user account and the built-in Administrator account gets disabled. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That is also a good suggestion, however, I wish to just rename the Administrator to whatever I choose (more specfically, "JuMz") and have no other accounts exist. I saw a batch on the forums once but I can no longer find it!!! Any help?

Why doesn't the driveinst utility install the drivers for the NIC? Isn't that the whole point of that utlity??

I do not know how to write XML but do wish to make use of it. I simply want to have a small form that allows me write to the unattend.txt to change the following settings...Name, Company, Workgroup...is this even physically possible or am I just dreaming... I can already see a problem in that we are not able to write to the DVD (which obviously has my unattend.txt file) so I am guessing I will have to use the ram drive method (great...something else I need to figure out how to work...) ...Any ideas guys?

is there a way to skip the second screen (user account creating and editing) from WIHU? I only want the first screen where the user can input his /her Name, company, computername and workgroup....then i just want the program to end...I have got it so far such that i get the 1st screen, it skips the program install screen, but then it gets stuck at the user account screen and then the finish screen...I only want the 1st screen and when the user hits next, the program simply just ends and XP setup continues...

Login to Administrator account, go run->compmgmt.msc->Local User & Groups->users->right click the user you want to delete and select delete. Restart and it will automatically login you as adminstrator. Pawan <{POST_SNAPBACK}> is there a script that we could use in an unattended install that would automatically rename the administrator account to something else?

Hey guys, just got promoted and recieved a weapon unlock. I am a total noob at bf2 (never played the 1st one, and Know nothing about this game really, but love it to death), and I didn't really look into unlocking any specific weapon, i just got excited and clicked something. Now I have a new gun for the medic unlocked and I hate it! is there a way I can switch the unlock to unlock the spec ops weapon instead?
