Awesome job dude! Keep it up!
  2. Google up a program called Reforce. It matches your video card refresh rates at a given resolution with the acceptable resolution for your monitor. You can also manually edit specific refresh rates at specific resolutions so that way you can force them on.
  3. Why wouldn't there be any interest? Maybe I missed something, but isn't this like a 1 step intergration of drivers (for text portion of setup) without going through all that editing of the sif files and inf's and stuff?
  4. Can anyone confirm my solution posted earlier?
  5. What are the advantages / disadvantages of using this method, VS using regular WinPE boot and launching winnt32 from there (unattended of course)? Just wondering.
  6. I have found a solution that seems to work for me. In MY case, it is the host PC that has the problem. Here is what I did. I simlpy went to the root of my HD in my computer (C:\) . Then I selected all the FOLDERS (not files) and right clicked and went properties, then clicked on the sharing and security tab. A Pop warning comes up about RESETTING all the permissions again and i clicked yes. Then i simply just closed and exited out of the properties window. Now, when another PC maps into my PC (with proper permissions etc etc), they see all the files they couldn't see before!! woo HOo!!
  7. Does anyone have any idea on how to get around the Activation?? Like I mean make it unattended
  8. Check Here <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But i already have that disabled, i am using fast-switching mode and there, do not have it enabled. I still have the problem, i guess i will just have to do it the hosts file way.
  9. Turn off offline files and folders <{POST_SNAPBACK}> how do you disable offline files / folders?
  10. Could you elaborate a bit more on that method. I currently use this method in my unattended DVD but I am unsure how to use it with WinPE. For example, in the unattended DVD, the drivers get extracted locally, are you doing the same thing here? Could you perhaps post samples of your script. Thanks!
  11. What I would do, is create a new winnt.sif using the setupmgr.exe from the deployment tools in the windows xp cd. fill in the respective information, then compare the files. should work from there
  12. Thank you for this suggestion. I will try this @ home and will update the thread as soon as possible.
  13. It is Windows XP Pro VLK with SP1 already on it. Sp2 was slipstreamed, no other mods by nLite were done, just the RyanVM, thats it!
  14. Has anyone found or is there a real solution to this yet, I just encountered this on my Toshiba Laptop M10 Satellite Pro......using Pyron's method and BTS drivers and WinPE. I am using your latest drivers pack for both sound A and sound B. In the changelog, you say it is fixed but I still recieve the error. Laptop uses Sound Max audio drivers. Any suggestions? The drivers can be located at toshiba.ca
  15. How did you figure it out!? I have the same error! Please, share your knowledge!!
  16. I have the same problem as everyone else. Used RyanVM and an Loading winnt32.exe through WINPE, same error. Any solution yet?
  17. I have the same problem. All the solutions proposed in this thread have not worked for me....
