Are there a list of Hotfixes for XP POST SP2 (SP2 already integrated) that DO NOT support the /intergrate method?

Hey everyone, Just a quick question here. I have already run BTS's Driver Packs on my UADVD and I have added entries in dosnet.inf and some other .sif files etc. Now if I re-run the Driver Pack BASE on my UADVD, will it overwrite all these changes I have made? I will be using M2 with keeping drivers and RunOnceEX incase you are wondering. Oh yeah, Will it overwrite additional files I have kept in the $OEM$ directory too? The reason I want to Re-Run it is I read that the NVIDIA Audio Control Panel does not get installed properly and the fix for this is in the bts_finish_roe.cmd or something like that. However, I don't know what to edit to make it work.

Have you tried looking in the OPK.chm or the WinPE.chm?

I am using WinPE also on DVD with the -m switch as stated in the OPK.chm (OEM Preinstallation Kit). I install WinXP unattended using winnt32! Very handy! Quite nice too!

That is BartPE, not WinPE. BarPE is a free equivalent of WinPE. WinPE is usually only available to OEM's.

It is free if you know how to get it free hehe, thats how I got it!

Hey guys, is there a way, using the OOBE, to get the user to input the "Name", "Organization", and "Workgroup / Domain" as well as the Add users screen?

Where do you even get that transformation pack?

It sounds like your winnt.sif is not even being read @ all in setup. Could you post your winnt.sif (remember to take out your CDKEY) and perhaps maybe your directory structure for your dvd / cd.

How updated are thse PDFs? What date did you download them?

I thought Desktop X completely modifies your shell but your shell looks liike traditional xp, am i missing something here? There is a way to use widgets with Desktop X without completely altering your shell?

Is this the only method? What exactly is this icon and why does it show up on some PC's and not others? like My Pc does not have it, and my buddies new one does? I am running a P4 Socket 478 I875 chipset and he is running a NF4 AMD 64 S939 and both of us used MY unattended image.

WOW, you have started already! keep me / us posted! Very interesting indeed. Are you using the pre-installed PE environment? or regular boot from dvd/cd into setup? I have WinPE and was wondering if i even need to use this anymore
