  1. Yep, it is in the funny farm. I did take it seriously though. Doh. DL
  2. Happy Birthday Bashrat!! What a hassle to get your dirver's license Best wishes, DL
  3. No harm in it. We encourage kids to see pups and foals born. No difference. Hold out on them and then it becomes something 'not normal'. If it happens in the course of their lives, let it happen. But I wouldn't take them out of the way to see it. DL
  4. Whew, was starting to think the problem was between chair and keyboard. DL
  5. This isn't exactly an answere to your question but I have seen something like this on this site in the past few months. Try doing a search for it. I'll give it a search also. DL Edit:Try here
  6. Also, if you get a static image when you first arrive at the site, then hit your refresh button and that will prompt the streaming, but only with the links suggested BiO. DL
  7. It's a jpg and I tried a bmp. I'll give it a shot in other selectable formats. Thanks. DL Edit: Just saw that bmp was not an option. Will try the others. Edit 2: Tried the other formats except swf, uploaded jpg to a file host and linked to that, all a no go.
  8. I've gone into my controls to change/set my avatar with a 3k jpg, 99x100x24 BPP off my computer and I am told "You are not allowed to upload that type of file as an avatar or personal photo" Any suggestions as to what I need to do correctly? DL
  9. @BiO- Yep, I have cable and to quickly click through 10 pages of links is no trouble if you are shutting off most of the clicked links immediately. There is only so long you can watch a flapping sheet of plastic at a construction sight before it starts to get boring. The whole thing is kind of scary. So many cameras that can be accessed and the list doesn't include closed circuit stuff. So many were watching courtyards, streets and public thoroughfares. I couldn't figure out why some of them were needed. Big Bro is here already. H. G. Wells didn't miss it by much. DL
  10. It's a bizarre tour of the world, at least the northern hemisphere from what I saw. Construction sights, machine/automotive/manufacturing shops, courtyards, computer labs/workcenters and one bird's nest! A lot were showing snow or traces of it. I did get a few 'save' windows pop up but they seemed to be on the larger streams. Found out also, that if you click on enough links in Google, it will tell you that your behaviour is like a virus or trojan and won't give you any more links. Fair enough, I guess. It must have figured I was 'bugging' it too much. DL
  11. FF 1.5 clicked on links and it produced a still image, hit refresh and then things started to move. I was suprised at how often the image refreshed. I was expecting some stop motion but it wasn't to bad. DL
  12. Well, there are only 2 weeks left in the month. You'll need to average 2 labs per week for the rest of this month. Hurry. I wouldn't want to see undead running around an office going "whoosh", not saying it couldn't happen, I just don't wanna see it. Delving a little deeper, it says the first action hero works for 'Maryamie'. Read her 10 reasons for marrying a geek on this page. Look about 1/3 or the way down the page. DL
  13. @Dagonet' I only see one problem, if you want to look at the your whole screen, you are going to have to swivle your head. Nice, very nice. DL
  14. A bit of info on this topic found here. DL
  15. Somewhere down the line I ended up on a MS mailing list and with the latest one, I got an advert for these figures. Get your own here from Microsoft MSDN. DL
  16. I also read in this forum thread here., that you can use Partition Magic. DL
  17. Hi John, Welcome to MSFN. DL
  18. Hi oldpyramids, Welcome to MSFN. DL
  19. Excuse me for perusing your post Jonathan. It is unusual that anyone reads these things. As a matter of fact it is probably close to zero. Yep, for sure. Nobody seems to be bothered with them. Yup. Your post was for naught. All that writing and thought will never see the light of day. For shame. This fact can be verified by looking at the 'view' column and in this part of the forum, it will almost always be zeroes. Oh, by the way, welcome to MSFN. and a happy new year to you also. DL
  20. I doubt he has an account here but you never know. Now we do know that MS keeps an eye on this site as xper has had notices about certain topics. If I were BG or MS, I definately would keep an eye on what goes on here because of the knowledge that is passed back and forth and the projects that are done here or associated with this site. DL
  21. Don't know if this will help or if you have already found this but: Got the above from here http://forum.lowyat.net/lofiversion/index.php/t114240.html I'll look some more. DL
  22. Similar to our redneck, WV and UP jokes but better written. Nice test of someone's 'English' skills, well, mine anyway. DL
