Link that works here. That will take a lot of practice for sure and I don't know what you get for just 80USD but people seem to like it when they can control the device. You can't talk when using it by the way as the "extra" brainwaves will disturb the other brainwaves.

A 9250? That one will not support HDCP or HDMI so I'm surprised it gives something at all...

Topic pinned , it might be from 2007 but people who go from a "Vista-based" laptop to XP might need to integrate ACHI drivers.

There is also an option for Write back cache in the Intel Matrix software, enable it there and set the setting back for Windows 7 again. * (If you didn't already played with the Matrix Software.)

Indeed, that must be the bottle neck in this case...EDIT: By the way, that's an ICH9R / G33 chipset, so the firmware of the RAID/ACHI controller must screwing up your score. I wonder what HP has t say about this, IF they even reply as you are using a OS that isn't supported by them. Here's mine: C:\Windows\system32>winsat disk -v Windows System Assessment Tool ... > Disk Sequential 64.0 Read 191.74 MB/s 7.3 > Disk Random 16.0 Read 2.68 MB/s 4.3 > Average Read Time with Sequential Writes 8.030 ms 4.9 > Latency: 95th Percentile 14.594 ms 5.1 > Latency: Maximum 21.969 ms 7.9 > Average Read Time with Random Writes 7.502 ms 5.2 > Total Run Time 00:00:55.05

Now I have 2 Deskstar 7K1000 on ICH10R RAID 0 setup (First 2x 50GB) and it still scores a 6, with or without volume write back cache. I know that those drives have not the best seek times, but throughputs over 230MB/s I would expect a bit more .

What do you guys think about Rocketfish Bluetooth KB & MS set?
puntoMX replied to ceez's topic in Hardware Hangout
Well, I don't know the brand but it looks almost like a Logitech cordless desktop (besides the cursor keys moved closer to the QWERTY layout) but I don't know de quality from this brand. I would try it out in the shop before you buy it if you have the change, but then, you could be ordering it online and throw away some cash if you don't like it in some way. On the other hand, they sell it in a lot of stores so it can't be that bad. By the way, it's time for wireless USB! -
I thought so, but only a range of 3.5" drives, so not the laptop 2.5" drives, are affected .

It's for sure the D 805, that one will slap the 1.6GHz AMD around .

Well, just an idea about the card reader, but when nothing is inserted into the reader than windows 7 hides those drive letters...And the primary HDD, no idea...

Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 Troubles
puntoMX replied to Zenskas's topic in Hard Drive and Removable Media
No need to jump on other people when they give their view.Keep it between the lines please , and that counts for all of us here. -
No reply in some time, but other than asking for an opinion what software is "the best", is there any hardware problem? And if there is some/one, please state what the problem is.

Naa, the Athlon/Duron and PIII/Celeron2 CU had "softtops" or also called "softcores"... I would put my money on the power supply or motherboard. The Microprocessor is unlikely the problem as they only get damaged when you abuse them (99% of the time). If it would be faulty Memory, Microprocessor or video card the system would still beep with an error code, however, there are some motherboards that don´t give error codes at all.

Clean the contacts of the flatcable that goes into the mainboard connector with a pensile eraser. If that doesn´t help than push gently on the top of the LCD screen itself when you have the screen apart. It´s most likely a failure of the contact strip on top of the screen and with some pressure you can get it to work again, however this will be not for long as the contacts will oxidate over time. If it´s the contact strip on top of the LCD than it failed due to heat or bad contacts (the glue that has been used cracked). I don´t know how old those screens are, but if you have 3 of them and they are bought less than 3 years ago than Dell needs to replace/repair them for free as the life expectations of those screens are 3 to 5 years (This does not apply in every country/state, but it´s worth to check with a lawyer or 2 ). By the way, this doesn't count of you tried to repair it yourself...

How Many MSFNers have a Windows Mobile Device/Phone
puntoMX replied to PC_LOAD_LETTER's topic in The Poll Center
How is that possible?, coverage isn´t that good over there or you are just against technology? . Here in Mexico I can´t without a simple one, imagine you are out in the middle of (almost) nowhere and you need to make an emergency call... -
Good to know, I was wondering why I only got 3.5 while on Vista 5.9 .
