  1. I've tried using the driver's disk that came with the PC, but it has no drivers specific to the card reader. I've installed the motherboard drivers to verify SATA is enabled and recognized, but no luck there. It's just the machine may not be compatible with Windows 7.
  2. I've set up Windows 7 on my Dell Inspiron 531, and if fails to recognize my media card reader as well as the primary hard disk on my machine. Any ideas?
  3. Thanks for your help!
  4. I've looked all over the OpenOffice.org website for that, but found nothing.
  5. I'm curious as to any means of preventing OpenOffice.org from installing the outdated version of Java during its own installation. OpenOffice.org tries to install Java Runtime Environment 6 Update 4, and I've already got JRE 6 Update 10 on my system, so it simply installs it alongside it. Any ideas?
  6. Thanks Worf. Even though I've created an .msi for Vuze, I'm sure several others will find the information, and installer, very useful. It's a shame that Vuze changed from the old -q switch that worked so well, especially in the days of Azureus.
  7. Well, I tried -q already, and it didn't work. That's why I was curious as to any other possible switch that might work. I guess I may have to build an .msi file for it after all. Thanks anyway, though!
  8. Ever since Azureus became Vuze, none of the switches work any longer. Is it possible to build a silent installer for this program? I hate to be forced to build an .msi for this program.
  9. Strange, but when I attempt to download the file, I get this error: Any help? I certainly want to try it out. Great job!
  10. Here's the new version... K-Lite Mega Codec Pack Information: Home Page Version: 1.50 Credit: abarax66 Size: 33.8 MB Download: Link MD5: 2480805265594F070F6F7E10E599D77A Enjoy all! Gary
  11. Based on the configuration of your RunOnceEx file, you need to create a CD.txt file and place it in the root folder of your XP install disk. More information on it here: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/v...074c5ece9d622c/ See if that helps.
  12. I decided to create a silent installer for ZoneAlarm Free version 6.1.737.000. Here's the link: http://rapidshare.de/files/12888806/Garys_..._Addon.cab.html It's been tested on several machines and VMWare Workstation. Gary
  13. It's been awhile since I posted this request, and interestingly enough, no one seems to have an answer. I know it can be done since an older version was posted at the old nLite forums some time ago which installed with no Preferences window afterwards. Anyone have an answer? Thanks.
  14. Actually, that is the switch I use, but the Preferences window still pops up during the T-13 stage of installation. It doesn't actually halt the installation, it's just annoying and I was wondering if anyone had a solution for it. Here's the line of my batch script for AlZip: Still not resolved. Thanks for the help.
