  1. First.. thats normal Secondly... should be fine but will take along time!! Thirdly.. vlite does not support addons yet just hotfixes, service packs etc.. well updates
  2. 1. Run the vbscript attached to fix the Internet Options (restart maybe required) 2-4 (maybe 5&6). did you remove netlogon? (causes most of installer issues and i think it causes the Disk Management issue) Q3. No point as when you instal DAEMON-Tools, it will jsut install the driver again anyway
  3. make sure its on a clean source, nothing removed etc... from on nlite select "Service Packs"
  4. if you got OEM preinstall enabled (i think its called that) then yes
  5. ok, thats odd... mines doing the same thing EDIT: doesn't matter now OK, before you actually click install on the updates, goto "View available updates" and untick "Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB932596)" and install the rest of the updates. You won't be able to install the update above so its easier if you right clicked on it and select hide.
  6. on the unatteneded page select "Prompt Repair" instead of "Default Hide". it does the same as defult hide but brings up the repair option and warns you about a previous OS.

  13. so do you decide to remove the first thing you find, or do you focus on certain stuff like services, components (ie. Photo Viewer)? Not sure if that make sense but oh well
  14. ive installed KB932596 on a vlited install (without alot removed) and installed fine from windows update, but integrating it into the disk and i got an error during installation of vista.
  15. Hi, just a curious question really but even though vLite can remove quite abit and in some topic someone mentioned there was quite alot of "junk" to still be removed. So my question is, what else is there to remove from vista? more drivers, languages, components, etc.. (dont list any services! because i know theres quite alot of them still to be removed).
  16. Yep it was that update you mentioned above working now
  17. lol, that hotfix is in my hotfix folder which means i integrated it just going to try it on vmware in a minute so i can tell you what it says.
