That's not to be "misread" though. We (the XP Crowd) have "clung" to XP because we had TWENTY-SOME YEARS to tweak it to our liking! But then we FOOLISHLY turn around and compare that tweaked XP to a "default install" of newer Operating Systems! OF COURSE the tweaked XP is going to "win" !!! But "get off your rocker", old dogs CAN learn new tricks (it just takes them longer, lol) and tweak a newer Operating System - then compare that tweaked OS to your tweaked XP. My fully-updated (no POSReady!) XP SP3 only runs 14 processes and only 212 threads. I don't really recall what a default install has in regards to processes and threads - but I'm sure it's quite a bit higher. My Win10 only runs 31 processes and 550 threads. Again, not sure what a default install runs as far as processes and threads. A quick internet search indicates anywhere between 70 and 90 processes is "normal" for a default out-of-the-box install. You tell me, which setup do you think is quick and snappy, the 31 processes or the 90 processes?

Technically, me neither as far as that goes. Listen, I "clung" to XP until just a month-plus ago, I really did "think" I was doing the right thing by doing so. I was wrong! Sometimes in LIFE, we get NOWHERE because it is we ourselves that HOLD OURSELF BACK! And MOST of the XP Users here at MSFN have admitted that periodically over the recent couple of years, they rely on their phone or tablets to get REAL work done, not their XP Dust Bunny. But yeah, "to each their own".

Replacing resources with English one and repack it with cabarc.exe and replace same files in English CD. WINNT32A.DLL and WINNT32U.DLL has CPU check cracked to allow 486 to run. and English SETUPLDR.BIN has different offsets and I have to patch it manually (just patched the condition branch ops). after 1st copying it reboots and got BSOD:

I live a humble simple life. Must appreciate what I do have ... 2 working computers and a modest wardrobe and cds and dvds and 2 nice plants to keep me company. I don't feel like I need anything else, nothing else would make me feel better. I feel incomplete and empty inside and its showing on the outside. Now to add insult to injury and only add to my anxiety I feel as I'm doing something wrong by using Thorium as I read that browser developer is infringing on Supermium which is paid and I can NOT afford to purchase anything at this point as I have spare cash to buy diet coke on my walks so now I don't know what to do anymore. Likely just stick with 360 Redux until that day comes and just go with Linux completely if these computers are even still working - they're on their 'last legs' and barely hanging on - like me. Its been said they would like all of use to be on phones only and I'm fighting it - I don't like phones and don't want a smart phone. They allow me to use a computer but the catch is I can only have 1 working at a time and this Dell 745 Optiplex is the better of the two so I rarely fire up the Dell Dimension anymore only to update Mypal68. I guess, Like, I don't know, other priorities are more important like my health. Sort of been trying to taper off the Clonazepam and one day be free from that monkey but there is never gonna be a good time and my anxiety and stress levels are through the roof; currently. My doctors are working with me on this and they know (full well) what I'm going through but I don't want any more medication to be added to the list. I already feel Dumbed down enough already and flat and stunted, but my thought process(es) lead me to dark places of hopelessness and we don't know what to do about that and my Derealization is not managed and I can't tell between that and this crazy world anymore.

Yessssaaa, it installs XP SP3 on my AMD 486 133MHZ cpu !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even I do not get any Bsod before, I did exact the same extras as you: Extra setupldr.bin patch 75 to EB in 0x23513 (strange, because it has CPUID), and replacing NTKRNLMP.EXE with our hacked NTOSKRNL.EXE, niccccccccccccccccccccceee.. When uBlock Origin is installed, it controls the preloading of websites. You do not have to disable uBlock Origin to control this feature again, you can simply enable the option "Disable pre-fetching" in uBO's dashboard page "Settings" as already mentioned by @Dixel.
