Please show crash details. You did show Winlogon events list, those are totally different things. Search 'View all problem reports' and find Explorer crashes there. NRANM
9 hours ago, Tihiy said: Please show crash details. You did show Winlogon events list, those are totally different things. Search 'View all problem reports' and find Explorer crashes there. There aren't any crashes listed in 'View all problem reports'. I used the term "crash" loosely. If a component (in this case I'm assuming StartAllBack's DLL) suddenly and unexpectedly stops working/has an unhandled exception/whatever, which in turn causes Explorer to be restarted, I call that a "crash". I care little how this is logged and categorized in the Event Viewer. I care that it was unexpected and unwanted, and caused me to lose my opened folders, which is an inconvenience for me, as I tend to have multiple folders open at all times. Perhaps I should have also mentioned the message in the Winlogon event: "The shell stopped unexpectedly and explorer.exe was restarted.". Explorer does not close by itself (and thus needing to be automatically restarted) on any of my other computers with Windows 10, and it didn't do that on my Windows 11 computers prior a specific version of StartAllBack. Thus, my conclusion is that the issue was/is caused by StartAllBack. I cannot be certain since it would seem that this problem occurs at specific intervals, and cannot be triggered manually. That would mean that I would need to possibly wait for another occurrence, then uninstall StartAllBack, and wait to see if the issue would persist. VitalS
Hi. I updated Windows to 25136.1000 (Insider Preview) and it seems they changed something. I did not use the Classic Start Menu and used the native one, but located on the left. Well, now it ignores the settings and opens the Start Menu in the center. So, I ended up having all the taskbar icons on the left, but the Start menu opens in the center. "Centered task icons" checkbox is not enabled.. Any ideas how to fix it? tia
helmutcheese
Right clicking the taskbar>Task Manager also does not work in that build either, but I have a shortcut to it in the Start Menu so not a big deal for now. I only use this for the Taskbar now as I prefer the Win 11 Start Menu after some changes they added recently. ruvlad
1) StartAllBack 3.4.2 and 3.4.3 results in Explorer.exe restarts when making a Win+Tab combination, is there a workaround? For now this is solved if you completely remove SAB from startup list. (Windows 11 Beta Channel, 22621.* = RTM) 2) You may have missed the report that the taskbar’s custom toolbar doesn't have a dark theme Edited June 14 by ruvlad
