  1. There aren't any crashes listed in 'View all problem reports'. I used the term "crash" loosely. If a component (in this case I'm assuming StartAllBack's DLL) suddenly and unexpectedly stops working/has an unhandled exception/whatever, which in turn causes Explorer to be restarted, I call that a "crash". I care little how this is logged and categorized in the Event Viewer. I care that it was unexpected and unwanted, and caused me to lose my opened folders, which is an inconvenience for me, as I tend to have multiple folders open at all times. Perhaps I should have also mentioned the message in the Winlogon event: "The shell stopped unexpectedly and explorer.exe was restarted.". Explorer does not close by itself (and thus needing to be automatically restarted) on any of my other computers with Windows 10, and it didn't do that on my Windows 11 computers prior a specific version of StartAllBack. Thus, my conclusion is that the issue was/is caused by StartAllBack. I cannot be certain since it would seem that this problem occurs at specific intervals, and cannot be triggered manually. That would mean that I would need to possibly wait for another occurrence, then uninstall StartAllBack, and wait to see if the issue would persist.
  2. Technically, they may be not. But since they are unexpected and undesired. So they are for all intents and purposes "crashes". Regardless what term is used, they are not features, they are bugs.
  3. Explorer just crashed a little while ago on both Windows 11 PCs that use StartAllBack. It seems the crashes always happen within ~10 minutes of each other. I have attached a couple of screenshots of the three crashes thus far. I trued using the .reg file but no dump files seem to have been created. I've installed the latest test version and I've set SysInternal's ProcDump tool (with different settings) on both computers, so hopefully the crash will occur soon, and one or both instances will create useful dumps, although looking at the dates and times, I should expect a crash on the 5th, some time in the afternoon. If that happens and dumps are created, I will upload them here or wherever is convenient for you.
  4. Many thanks! I've installed it, and it looks good right off the bat. If the problem reappears, I will post again.
  5. I'm guessing there isn't a workaround that you can implement. I'm also guessing the "Properties" button appearance is also related. (Screenshot attached). Also, I would really appreciate the option to show "shut down" and "restart" commands in the Start menu when using RDC. I'm assuming this has been requested previously, so just adding my 2 cents.
  6. I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature but the buttons in the Taskbar seem to be very long when set to not be combined. When there are multiple/many buttons, it looks fine, but when there are only one or two, it looks weird. I have attached a couple of screenshots. EDIT/ADDED: Perhaps this is related to DPI/scaling, as the issue occurs only on my second computer that is connected to a 4K display, which I also access both directly and via RDC from a computer that uses a 1080p display, so there is resolution switching involved periodically. I have another (third) computer with StartAllBack that only uses a 1080p display, and there is no such issue.
