RandPC Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I'm curious what you're using the menu bar for? I use the Win7 Explorer style too but enabling the menu bar always seemed like a waste of space. Doesn't (for me) seem to accomplish anything quicker then can be done without it.
Ataemonus Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Any reason why my post about the File Explorer was deleted ? Did I do something wrong requesting some functionality/option ?
Tihiy Posted October 26, 2024 Author Posted October 26, 2024 This is bumping. Do not bump. The change is intended (as all tabbed apps do have suffix and purpose of app is not to change new UX nor to break accessibility). No, I will not add checkboxes, sorry.
Ataemonus Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I only asked once, there was no bumping, could have said so from the get go instead of acting shady and deleting posts or at least could have sent a PM to inform.
Tihiy Posted October 26, 2024 Author Posted October 26, 2024 That won't help as this thread is full of repeated bul*****.
drkorobov Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Form's header text color missing (win 11 23h2 + StartAllBack 3.8.12)
azure Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 If there's multiple windows open in the program that's (for example) first on the taskbar and one of them is focused (except for the first window, in which case it doesn't matter), pressing WIN+1, does not switch to the first window in the list, but instead tries switching to the one that's already focused. Win11 23H2 (22631), SAB 3.8.12 1
ender` Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 I noticed something funky today – the taskbar on one of my computers was suddenly different colour, and also wasn't auto-hiding – Windows somehow toggled the setting. After enabling auto-hide again, it went back to the usual colour, and if I disable it, it changes colour again: Autohide disabled: Autohide enabled:

One use case I have menus is it was the way for accessing "Folder Options" for specific folders when using "Windows 7 Command Bar" Explorer style. Right now you have to use "Win11 Command Bar" or "Win10 Ribbon UI" to get to that dialog.

msrat Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 Can the Windows 10 volume flyout follow the per-monitor functionality of the other ones again? This one only appears in the main monitor if clicked, the other ones appear on whichever you clicked on, as expected.
Ill-Term7334 Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Also, with win 10 ribbon UI set for Explorer I could not find an option to enable "compact" view. Had to turn on 11 ribbon to enable it, and swap back. Hey. Is it possible to to make the network icon only show up in the system tray if I get disconnected?
click-click Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 (edited) Will a single license allow it to be used with different Windows systems on a multi-boot PC? My understanding is that the license is tied to the hardware, so if I use a multi-boot setup, the license will cover more than one StartAllBack install on that PC. Is that correct? Tihiy Posted November 6, 2024 Author Posted November 6, 2024 Installing to different hard drives may require a separate license
