Dmitrik Posted October 18, 2024 Posted October 18, 2024 (edited) If I click the ‘Show hidden icons’ button in the tray, the little popup window with hidden icons opens. Theoretically, if I click once anywhere else, it should close. But in reality, I have to click twice for it to close. Not sure it's a bug. It might be by design. SAB 3.8.11. Any word on this? It's very annoying... I have 3 monitors and my taskbar is on the left side of the right monitor. The Start Menu appears bottom middle on the right monitor... If I switch to enhanced classic start menu, it appears where it should, but I like the W11 Start Menu. Curious, I know... The vertical taskbar is the main reason for me to use StartAllBack...
Phil_123 Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 I have been trying StartAllBack since upgrading to 24H2. StartAllBack feels like a very polished replication of older Windows, but now I run into this issue, if I have too many windows open and I hover over them in the taskbar, the window list hover span two columns instead of staying in 1 column with a limit of items shown, with vertical scrolling to access all of the items. Moreover, the window titles are not truncated at all, and the 2 fixed-width column design makes it worse, 1 column with an extra long title makes the second column unnecessary long also, making the whole hover fill up the entire screen.
Tihiy Posted October 23, 2024 Author Posted October 23, 2024 StartAllBack 3.8.12 Quote - Added Widgets position switch to Tray icons - Some keyboard navigation changes for start menu - Fix start menu with wrong size/fonts if opened during DPI change - Fix possible hang with task/thumb tooltips with multi-DPI displays - Fix .ico not loading for modern app jump lists 6

lackschuh Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 (edited) My last post regarding BattlEye was on 9/29/2024, a month ago... is this bumping? if yes, sry. And the question why BattlEye blocks the StartAllBackLoaderX64.dll file has not yet been answered. Edited October 24, 2024 by lackschuh

lackschuh Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 I have purchased a license. Now I'm supposed to take care of the problem myself? Nice support , lol

Nice support , lol Exactly, you purchased a game license, so you should ask the game support why it's triggering on StartAllBack – this is not something Tihiy can solve (it's like when AV products have false positives – there's basically nothing the software author can do, it has to be the AV company that needs to fix their s***).
lackschuh Posted October 24, 2024 Posted October 24, 2024 BattlEye blocks StartAllBackLoaderX64.dll because there must be some kind of connection between GTA5.exe and StartAllBackLoaderX64.dll. Quote If a file is blocked it means that the game process tried to load them, which is the reason BE is checking them. https://www.battleye.com/support/faq/

If the game works fine with Windows by default, then the game is not at fault He should test by disabling third party software (SAB, another AV, etc...) And find the software that is causing the problem But indeed, BE can be nice and solve the problem Edited October 24, 2024 by tistou77

Nice support , lol I did contact BE. But I don't believe it's an even minor level problem as it does not disrupt anything. Close BE window and that is it. Edited October 24, 2024 by Tihiy 1
