Thank you very much Tihiy, I preserve the latest ability of OldNewExplorer version 1.0.6 to my DevianART page http://zeusosx.deviantart.com/art/Windows-8-1-explorer-with-transparent-address-bar-433200199?ga_submit_new=10%253A1392062296

Do me a favor, please have a look to my personal 'Control panel' shortcut also to the shortcut 'My Computer', windows, shortcuts taken from my http://zeusosx.deviantart.com/art/taskbar-s-folders-for-windows-8-system-310043643 so to affect OldNewExplorer changes to those kind of windows location made, too, if possible.

Thanks in advance and congratulations.

Amazing work Tihiy, I have one more request, can you add options to remove the extra padding on the address bar and navigation buttons and remove the up arrow please, that would make it perfect :)

Thank you very much tihiy for the excellent work
Can you tell me what dll. were "modified" ?

I love you, thank you so much for this great app

An option to remove the Up Arrow would be welcomed.

LOL after peeps cried for years to get that UP Arrow back in @Windows.

TBH I never seen the point as it does the same as the Side Arrow IMO (unless I am missing something).

What can I say mate, you are the man!!!

Actually as it it seems this is all so easy for you with your mad skills, maybe you can figure out what MS did to stuff up custom theme System metrics not being applied, currently the only way to change the system metrics is through the registry unless your using Windows Style builder, for some reason when you test a theme using that it will update the system metrics and when you hit stop testing it actually manages to apply the correct system metrics for the applied theme, maybe I should get PandaX to make a small tool that somehow reproduces this testing but just applies it to the current theme.

This is how Windows 8 should have looked :)

Version 1.0.7

http://tihiy.net/files/OldNewExplorer.rar

- Kill Kill Kill Up Button!

- Also, extra paddings around search field and 2px extra from travel buttons are removed when on glass

Up button may be useful, but it's ugly. Maybe i'll try to make it skinnable.

Than you, thank you, thank you, thank you

Thanks Tihiy nice update, But it looks like removing the colored box from around the text on the Title bars is too hard even for you, Thanks again ace2.

Is it possbile to have the "Hard Disk Drives" and "Devices with removable storage" separated by modifying a .dll or file (without using this app) ?

Thanks

Hardly so. Even if it's possible shell32.dll signature will break causing havoc.
