  1. I used wininstall le in the past. I don't know ORCA. I don't know for sure, but do I need MSXML 4.0 SP2 actually in a normal XP system?
  2. Yes there is: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...b6-c5d7485f2b42
  3. Could you explain what and how you did it? I want to create my own for the german MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2. And keep up the good work! EDIT: How can I find out if it installed correctly?
  4. Maybe WMP10 isn't available in your language (yet)?
  5. Look here: http://unattended.msfn.org/ And especially here: http://unattended.msfn.org/xp/timeline.htm
  6. Remove the - in front of HKEY and merge the key into your registry and restart your computer.
  7. Have a look at this thread: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=26594&hl= You might find some useful info there
  8. I don't know, but have you tried searching the application switches thread? http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=80
  9. Using this tool: http://freehost14.websamba.com/nirsoft/utils/shexview.html you should be able to disable a few of them.
  10. What did you do? Because mine still don't work.
  11. I believe there is only a version for SP1. But to be honest: I used that version in SP2 and it worked.
  12. Did you put a cabbed version of fasttrak.sys in I386?
  13. I didn't have any problems installing WMP10 after removing WMP9 from my Unattended CD.
  14. site is back up. Link works for me. Using Opera. EDIT: Doesn't work in Internet Explorer, OPERA RULEZ! Here's a copy: Downloads.zip
  15. site is back up. Link works for me. Using Opera. EDIT: Doesn't work in Internet Explorer, OPERA RULEZ!
  16. After some more testing, I came to the conclusion that it DIDN'T work. When I run wmplayer I get the WMP10 first-run screen, but after that WMP crashes. Also you can't choose which filetypes to play with WMP10. So I think I will stick to the silent install using my main_batch.cmd or even beter: only install the codecs and keep using Media Player Classic
  17. It worked for me in VMWare. Haven't done a real install. EDIT: If it doesn't work for you, you could try renaming the wmp10.inf to wmp.inf and overwrite the old one. So syssetup.inf can still call wmp.inf
  18. I believe you also need the termsrv regtweak, which can be found here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=At...=post&id=162175 Simply add it to your regtweaks.reg and overwrite the old tcpip.sys with the new one.
  19. Please forgive me, but I am still confused about what to do next. I got the file from RyanVM, (netfxsp1.rar) and not so sure what next. I am trying to slipstream .net FrameWork 1.1 like everyone else here. Make a sfx from the rarfile that you downloaded from RyanVM. You can use winrar, iexpress or powerarchiver or..... Winrar gives the best compression.
  20. Did you search the application switches thread? http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=80
  21. I managed also to slipstream WMP10. This is what I did: 1.Extracted all files from mp10setup.exe 2.Cabbed all those files and moved them to I386, overwriting all existing files. 3.Added new files to dosnet.inf and txtsetup.sif 4.Replaced wmp.inf in dosnet.inf and txtsetup.sif with wmp10.inf See attachment to find out what I added to dosnet.inf and txtsetup.sif: P.S.: If anyone finds a better/cleaner method please let me know. dosnettxtsetup.zip
  22. @Weed, could you explain in detail what you did?
  23. This might be useful: Mstest's-Replace WMP8 install with WMP9 install , during windows xp setup-thread: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=10637
  24. Take a look here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=26464&st=60 I have done some work, maybe someone else can take it over, because I really don't know how to modify setup files.
