Hey guys you do realize all this useless talk just slows BG down, right? I am sure he has come here to read email notifications of activity here just for useless banter.

Not surprising with the xbox one practices and some of the horror stories I read of people using xbox live and the cloud, then getting royally screwed by MS automated stuff. (Like being banned from all ms accounts for uploading family pics that the filter caught as child porn and then being auto reported to the feds) They were just pics that had children in swimsuits in some of them in that case.... MS never admitted any wrong and the people were still banned from all of their ms accounts and their cloud stuff was deleted (Or so was said) during the "investigation"

Plus those kind of users will more than likely be using their own os's or heavily customized Linux distros and so-on... LOOOONG before they would let MS touch their systems.

Don't feel bad about having missed those links, but they're really there - yes, in a clean Win 8.1 installation. -Noel That actually just makes me madder at MS.

I'm pretty sure I didn't see those at all (Note this was a fully new installation of win 8.1 not a upgrade or anything) I did look for quite some time and i would like to think I could be considered a advanced user.

Yeah it was a laptop and there was no way to bypass. It felt like extortion or holding the laptop for ransom (You HAVE to give up your privacy to use this OS) Next win 10 rtm or the next one will want a finger print or retina scan to register your new PC or OS...

After the migraine i received due to watching the flowing colors during Win 8 setup (Was that sh*t supposed to be calming?) Then being slapped in the face by HAVING no choice but to give a ms email address to get into it I will NEVER use 8 again (Or even try to) I never got into the actual OS I rebooted from the you must log in bs straight to Win 7 setup.

Can I has some too?

I have all the peripherals I mainly need a system that has the following: At least a dual core and 4+ gigs of ram ( I DO ALLOT of vm testing) Plus a good amount of hard drive space.

The psu has a redundant power switch they all have for quite a long time. Also the psu will not fully activate until the motherboard has the connector hooked up and relays are connected it is a fail safe. No reason for it to turn on and waste power or burn anything up if it doesn't need to power anything.

As most of you know I haven't had a home pc for a few months now. I have gotten most of a new one together though. If you can help this is what I have left for need(s) hard drive(s) and a video card. I don't think you understand I no longer have a pc due to lack of funding and very little donations. It may be a long time before I am able to help you with this issue.

This is a known problem when slipstreaming from with a vista + OS. we have experienced that for quite a long while with nlite since sp3 came out.
