  1. unfortunatly, no a pci-e card cannot be put in a pci or pci-x slot if you want a third moniter badly pci video adapters are really cheap now < 50$
  2. might i wonder what driver is causeing this?
  3. well one thing to remeber when ocing, there is a limt. some things to help: putting a divider on your ram, losening your timeings chipset voltage increase may help general inprovement of temps, it may not be overheating but it will help.
  4. the unattended guide link at the top has one: http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/31/
  5. nobody can realy tell you what fan to get for the new intel proc for one reason: intel could change the socket in the case they do that you would need a totaly diffrent cooler. some good companies for cooling: zalaman thermalright panflo, panisonic
  6. if you want something thats garented to work on 2k+ computers then id suggest using vb6. its syntax is very simaler to the .net varients.
  7. yes i belive ati tool will do this for you, be warned tho, the fan is noisy because the card has found the need for more speed, manualy slowing this down may cause damage to your card. if you are serious about makeing it quieter then id recomend the zalaman vfs-700 its a lot more efficient and quiter.
  8. well as par this page: http://www.restuner.com/tour-resource-tuner-console.htm for the lazy: Price: US$199 for the Single Developer License i dont think xpero would spend $200 for 64bit support.
  9. well this is not were the problem is then, runonceex runs on the first start, cmdlines.txt runs at t-12 so id look there for a issue also this may cause probs: REG ADD %KEY%\005 /ve /d Ultra ISO /f lack of "" 's
  10. well we cant help you without some info the following would help: last_session.ini from nlite anything extra added like bts driver packs? the hardware this is falling on would probably help too
  11. curretnly the only realese microwinx realated that i forsee for some time will be my customazation tool, that will most likely be supported in the next version
  12. a little emphasis: not all hardware overclocks the same!!!!!!! i could get my cpu to 4ghz and thatl mean squat for yours.
  13. i dont think this is the way you overclock, software overclocking is unstable in most cases. tempature is not a issue most of the time while i do recomend staying below max temp in MOST cases even WITH stock that is not a problem. one thing the guide leaves out: Memory. there are many ways to overclock a athlon64 you only specify "overeclocking" a good guide id recomend would be here for looken how a athlon 64 works http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...167&postcount=3
  14. i think its the line TargetPath=\Windows not to sure on that... might wana remove your key tho.....
  15. i dont think you can add minlogon to win2k....... its from xp-embeded so it might work being that their simaler, nothing like trieing it tho
  16. i use cabarc.exe, there is a shell extension out that will make it so you can sendto files into cabs, also its great with batch files
  17. well i used wpi last year, havent looked into it much since.... but: 1. i think its install is to complex, you have to run something first that runs wpi and all that stuff solution: why not make a wpi nlite addon pack? with that you could: have wpi addons that add their entries in automaticly to wpi. eas of use 2. themes. i know wpi has themes avalible but some themes involve moding the wpi code for some features..... why not make a standerd for theme application? not knowing html im not sure how thatd work. 3. maybe a custom wpi installer? instead of relying uppon runonce ex to install make a nicer (graphicly) install sequence that matches theses are my suggestions for wpi, contact me if you have any questions
  18. can you post the last session.ini? also is the theme file in the recorses folder?
  19. there could be many reasons: A. your chip does not oc as well as others, no two chips oc the same. B. your not giving it enough voltage to oc any better. C. your ram cant take its oc and needs a ratio put on it. D. you are raising the htt above 1000mhz. E. your powersupply is bad and cant take the extra load of the oc. F. anything!
  20. i would think it is very easy to move this stuff anywere, just make a hsfslip folder in the windows directory and make a bat run from detatched programs or something
  21. solution A: try safe mode? solution GOOGLE: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315335 says it could be your ram, the FIRST result in google search!
  22. if you are going to be runing multiple files id recomend that you just throw them all in a self extracting archive with a batch to run them, its much cleaner looking
  23. i use xp64. now that i have used it i cannot say there are any advanteges disadvanteges poor external device support no virtual cd drives only vmware works for a virtual machine driver apps act up.
  24. its in shell32.dll which can be found in your system32 folder.
