are you runing a sata drive? if so the port could be unlocked, thus causing problems there. if its not that i would have to go with try putting a mem divider on it and see if it still happens

ok what i am trying to do is change the desktop to a pic of my choice, however this has to be in addon pack for nlite. i have tried using the [shell] method discused in the unattended guide, however no one seems to be responding to the issues with that here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=65791 atempting to set it in the registry also leads to falure due to this addon using minlogon i dont know what keys to edit, i just need to be able to apply a .theme file silently. so dose anyone have a idea on how to do this or any other way of setting the desktop? thx for any responses

you cant, you can compress data with archivers like 7-zip and winRAR. but you will NEVER be able to fit a dvd's worth of data onto one cd.

i did a switch from vb6 to .net(2003) it was very easy, but i did not get into any advanced things, stoped at classes.

the list gdogg posted is only a list of applications that he has made patches for as far as i know. others work. i do belive 7-zip is compatible as i am using the commandline version in the install process. i have the feature set worked out but have got to get the bug (big bugs) worked out.

i think the micrownx project has its benifits in that it is a true winxp install, what you need you dont remove in nlite. this could also be allite off the point of the project, to be a very small windows install. i think both of these projects have their benifits, being that microwinx has me building a ton of code for it too now

im quite sure that if you remove some files uou can get the driverpacks on their, heck i got office 2k3 on my disk witch eats about 200 of the 630mbs it is

well theres a chance intel could realese a 65nm pentium M proceser, not to sure about that tho. prices will always be falling so if you can wait you may get a better deal

^^your quad sli motherboards link is broken while it would be cheaper to do a dual core cards sli system that would just bring in bigger heat issues, now instad of having 4 cores have their own hsf you have them split it for 2 cores to one hsf, this dose not solve much other then giving the user acsess to the other expansion ports, if they even have them.

well the 900 series of pentium d procesers are cooler then the 800 series suposadly, since their 65nm. thos 4 gtx tho...... i dont think you can air cool them, they would be mighty close to gether, i wana see them pull that off. and the power bill, well, err, run a extension cord from your neighbors house and hope he dosent notice the 200$ increse in electical bills?

for a gamer that dosent want to build his compy taht wouldent be too bad of a system, it would be a crime not to encode videos on that, playing games would come in 2nd imo cause none cane take advantege of the dual core proceser

a slight tug and push should fix the yellow wire, turning on and off the computer with the psu's power switch poses no real threat other then data lose, you could check with another pc to see if the video card still works tho it might not depending on where you put the yellow wire. if it dosent work just rma/excange it and say it was dead out of the box.

generaly demilaterized internet acsess disables all of the routers firewall/port blockers for a specific computer, this helps speed up torrents. i would need to know what router you have to tell if it supports these feutures

well one thing to try would be to give yourself demilitarized internet acsess from your router, or just pluging yourself into your cable/dsl modem also it could be the torrent, if there arent enough people it will be slow no matter what

i would go with the venice 3500+ due to it being 60$ cheaper... double cache is NOT going to effect your gaming preformance AT ALL. the area where this cache will help is video/cad work and since your going amd i would asume that you are doing nither. however that opteron being cheaper would be my choice but since your not a ocing person i would not get it

ok if everyone read the first post he said in a hd ENCLOSURE. if you unplug the enclosure im sure it would be fine to swap hdds while the compys runing if the enclosure is still runing tho you may destroy it if you pull out the drive and its runing.

mine are taking up about 10mb of ram so i think eather your system is haveing problems or your doing something graghics intensive in the background like runing windowsblinds, icondestop, any 3dgame minimized, random other stuff. now if it was sharing memory he would see a PERMANET drop in system ram aka if the video card was sharing 32mb and he had only 256 windows would only see 234mb of ram because the video drive dose not handle that type of thing, thats the bios's job too manege it.
