do you know that they work, have you been able to see them actualy start up with the screen? also ntoskrnl.exe is also stored in sp2.cab if you have winxp sp2 you need to replace that too or it will only work for the first boot

adding back the graphics stuff should give litestep a good chance, i got it working in microwinx without to much of a hassel

so does that mean i can now send out .7z packages for nlite? if so id asume it follows the same idea as the cab form? might seem like a odd request but can we maybe set get a way to do diffrent things varying on os version?

yes i would definatly try that, they are the same slot and all but some times there can be complications. dont mix ram, especialy in prebuilt computers

have you tried the drive in another computer? you could also try a difrent usb device, like a flash drive and see if that works

yes acohol 120% works on xp-64, just make sure you have a recent version of it

well a 150mhz increase is certanly great at that rate almost a 50% increase in processing power, the pIII's had something over the pII's, so if its cheap id do it.

well xvi32 has scripting capacities and you can turn that into a simple exe with winrar or 7zip easily. i dont think theres a dedicated program for that tho

every half year, with defrags monthly, sometimes more if i break something however it can be upto 50 times in one day if im developing microwinx related things

i dont think you can integrate it, you can run it quietly tho. just run it with the passive switch or /quiet switch depending if you want to see something or a total no show.

well you can go to cotrol panel > administrative tools>computer manegement >disk manegement and partition it like a normal hard disk (atleast i can) from there you can format that partition as a dos startup disk i belive.

have you guys looked for drivers for vista? if you dont have drivers this would be pointless, however this is not your current problem, have you tried a ide hard drive(first post)? second post id recomend looking around for simaler setups and see how well they have gone, remeber this is still a beta os!
