i belive you have to set the password then add the files to the archive, then files that are password protected have a * at the end of their names. i think you can encrypt the names too but i forget how to do it in winrar....

asuming you have a ati card ati tool is a nice utility for checking speeds/temp if you have a nvidiacard or just dont like atitool then there is a alternate called Rivatuner this works for both ati and nvidia, but is much more then a clock sensor also for nvidia is coolbits witch should give accurete readings. google any of the above for more info on it.

what i belive gdogg is saying is that microwinx may(will?) eventualy support xp-e, now if im thinking right here it would certanly be intresting to have a xp-ge with microwinx tweaks. i certanly would be intrested in such a system, however as of now I have not made any atempts or tries with xp-e so i cannot say at all if a system like that would be possible.

for resorce hacker im quite positive you have to remove the resources before reloading new ones via that technique this can be achived with the line: -delete ,,, that will remove all of the recourses from the file then of with you add yours back in.

i manged to get mapinfo 8 runing in microwinx, i am not sure about how it reacts to slimed down windows but it should work. orcale 9i however: gave back that before a slimdown so i canot gurante it being supported, that and the fact that i have absoulutly no clue what it is realy helps. any other app compatibilty questions?

if you do chose to do water cooling i recomend you build your own. custome kits are alot more efficient and most of the time will cool better then a pre built one. i belive it is posible to get a xp-120 or si-120 on a ihsles cpu however you have to be very carefull and i belive fille down the cpu socket header (the white part that says socket 939)

the not hereing any sound is mostlikely because it was not converted properly. i recomend videora for converting mostly any video to ipod format. the song issue may just be itunes not updateing your ipod, i would try forcing it to.

while i have not tried that combination i do use 6 and .net 2003 here i have no probelms whatsoever. the way i do it has 6 before .net i cannot think that your sittuation will be any diffrent then mine so it should work

a good run through with reshacker can never hurt. however i have looked at aim before and it sure is a complex thing to hack i would suggest googling for patches that may exist tho

well first is anything useing the file usefull if nothing is using the file that should be able to delete it. if not rebooting to safe mode normaly fixes it strait up

currently no microsoft office programs work in a microwinx instalation, i do not think this will ever be supported due to the large amount of bloat support for thos would add but there is a chance they could be supported in the future. unfortunatly i have never heard of your other two programs a trial download would suffice for me to test it under microwinx if that is possible otherwise you will find out when the public beta is realesed currently the beta addon pack is scheduald for the end of this month if testing turns out good and very few bugs are found the will most likely be correctted and the public realeas made in the first week of april i belive

if you ever want to make a addon for custom kernals just hack both the kernals drop them in a cab with the folowing in entries.ini [general] blah...... [drivercab_move] ntoskrnl.exe ntkrnlpa.exe this is the setup i use for my addons
