  1. MAN! Everytime i think about all the cool things about Japan...it makes me want to move there! Only problem, i would never be able to learn Japenese nor do i like the fact that everything is more expensive there. -Drew
  2. Me and my girfriend had this same conversation last nite. It seems that it has happened more then twise, but as i read through the article, i think the reason why it has only happened twise, is because the front and back of the armytime, date and year have to mirror each other. for example.[b:062f26d87b]20:02[/b:062f26d87b] the first part(20) is the oposite of the latter part(02). this also works for [b:062f26d87b]10:01[/b:062f26d87b]. the numbers have to switch order, and match both the date and year. [b:062f26d87b]Ex. AB:BA[/b:062f26d87b] The reason why this cannot continue to happen it beacaue Army time doesnt gopast 24:00........ and thus will never happen in again. -Drew
  3. From what i have heard and read, Rambus is only nessary when getting the new Nothwood core or Pentium 4a. DDr is coperable and way cheeper then rambus, and it works quite nicly with 2gbs and below. If coats are an issue i would go with DDR but RAMBUS is aways a nice added performance boots. -Drew

  7. Well it all dependes on the particular Browser you use. But if you use IE then your internet temp files can be deleted by clicking the start menu>right clicking on IE and selecting Internet Properties>Delete files(tick offlie stuff too)that should get of all the temp stuff. You can also delete cookies and clear history, this will get rid of some other unwanted extras. -Drew

    xp icons

Im not sure if this will work, but why dont you just try to copy the icon files, put them on a zip or somthing and pop them into your 98 comp, and copy them to a directory and when you change the particular icon, browse and point it to that particular Directory. -Drew
  9. Well first off Micro, the address bar by defalt goes Horizontal, not Vertical. So im not even sure its possiable to have the address bar on the Taskbar while running it Vertically. Secondly, depending on your theme the addy bar might or might not be skined(ChaNinja is). -Drew
  10. [b:912043a08d]Micro-[/b:912043a08d] Try draging the tasbar from a lower posistion, and make sure the taskbar is unlocked :spaced -Drew

  20. HEy dood i had similar problems with the abit hpt366. goto their homepage--http://www.highpoint-tech.com/ and find your driver, if they dont have Xp try Win2k. If that doesnt work i have the beta driver, but no where to host, Pm me if the first option doesnt work. GoodLuck -Drew
  21. If the oppertunity is there and the money isent that much of an issue, i would go with the upgrade. A general rule of thum is to upgrade when you cpu speed is doubled, so your in the clear. A few things though, I wouldent buy the Geforce, the Radeon will work just as good or better, and if your low on dough you could even lax on the hard drive, but then again more space is always better especially if you are a frequent downloader of games, movies etc. -Drew
  22. If your dealing with corrupt files then try this fix.... Go to Start > Run and type sfc /scannow (leave a space between sfc and / ).Hit Enter. This nice little Xp function will find the corrupted files and replace them. Goodluck -Drew
  23. Sending and receving files somtimes go thru different ports, trt finding out from the manufactuer what port is what and how you can go about opening/closing these ports. I mentioned an IP for the router, my frend had a sililar problem to yours, but he could modify the settings thru the ip address. You migh want to find that out as well. -Drew
