  7. Try this... Boot from the cd and select the repair option. You will we taken to a comand prompt like thing. This is the repair comand prompt. Select the partition that Xp is on and type this "sfc/scannow" (without any spaces). Also if its a spacific file giving you an error then maybe try to find the file on another Xp system, put it on a floppy and try to replace the file, you can do this with dos comands, but inorder to do this you have to find the file and where its located.... Goodluck -Drew

  13. Like i said browse your way to the directory, " kayaka extreme ". look inside the folder and see the contents, then one by one delete each file and folder, if you find that one file gives you the error, just go to the next until you have delteted all but the one that gave you the error. The try to delete the final file. I know this isnt a very technical way of soving things, but i have found this to work in situations simialar to this. -Drew
  14. I have had this problem as well...im not quite sure as to why it occurs, but i have noticed that if you go into the directory in windows explorer and delete the files and floders on an individual basis, you wil not get the read only protection error. I hope i read your problem corectly, it seemed to have a bit of spanich in it but i think i got the question right. -Drew
  15. You can try one of two things. 1. Go to Start > Run and type sfc /scannow (leave a space between sfc and / ).this will check all system files if corrupt or damaged, it will replace them with new ones. or 2.Go to Start>Acessories>System tools>System Restore>"Restore my Computer from earlier time". Hopefully you will have pervious restore points. -Drew
  16. From what i have seen around the Overclocking comunity,Swiftech MC 462-A is the best around these days. you can find it @ http://www.overclockers.com/articles347/ But if your not going to overclock, make sure to adjust the fan speed to low....you wont need all that air for a non overclocked CPU...and the noise wont be nearly as bad if its set on a lower speed. -Drew
  17. Have you used windows update? I know that defalt drivers for the Live! series caused problems. You also might want to try out the newest drivers for your vid card. -Drew
