Man! some times you guys are Retatds! LOOK AT THE TITLE, it not about what buning/ripping software you prefer, its about what can INCD can do....:cuss: By the way, i downed InCd, i found that it can make a CD-rw act like a HUGE floppy. I formated it using InCd, and im sort of confused on what they mean, every time i try to drag and drop stuff to it, it puts a little + next to the file and it says that that the file will be burned on the top, but when i eject the cd, and put it back in it longer conatins the files. Can someone tell me what im doing wrong? !!HELP!! -drew

I use Nero and i like it very much, i have noticed people seem to use Incd for different things, and they like it over Nero in some aspect. What does InCd have that Nero doesnt? -drew

What about crt moniters? I just put my moniter @ 1280x1024 and 75hz. I have noticed some eye strian, does the hz have somthing to do with it? whats the optimal HZ for 1280x1024? -drew

First off i would recomend that you uninstall Ez Cd creator for good! I have seen way too many problems arise on this board from that piece of software(Aaron might get angry at this). Just use another cd burning program, my personal favorite is Nero. Further, Are you positive that you havent motified anything else? Possibly in the performance options. -drew

I have been told to spend the extra cash and get the warrenty. Laptops have the tendency to get a bit jacked after a year or so...and the parts are a f***ing rip off! Of which most of the time its impossiable to install yourself. Spend the dough you wont regret it. :beer -drew

Man this is old news, EverCrack fans have sold their stuff online soo much that they have banned the ability on Ebay, the company forbids it..and for good reason...doesnt it take the fun out of the game?!? What i would do would be do pop in a 98 start up disk and use fdisk and format in dos. The only way your going to be able to get that 8 gigs is to free up the entire drive with Fdisk. To do this, get to the comand prompt and type "Fdisk" then look what the hard drive has...it will have a primary dos partition and most likely either a chunk of undefinded space, or it could be a extended partition. Depending on the case, try to delete the Primary dos, if it says it cant, due to somthing...like the existence of a logical drive or extended, delete those first and then the primary dos. Then make sure you have the entire drive as unallocated. Then create a primary dos partition, when it asks you if you want it to be the entire size of your drive say yes. Then boot from the Cd and install XP. And make sure to format the drive in NTFS, it will give you that option in the install. :beer -drew

How did you reformat? The only way to wipe your drives clear, is to go through the dos prompt. The correct way to do this is to restart with a 98 startup disk in the A: drive...strat the computer without cd rom support and type "format c:" this will clear the drive. then you can boot form the XP Cd-rom. and format your drive in NTFS. This will give a new clean drive with a format that Xp is ment to run on. goodluck -drew

i prefer to do all mt disk partitions in dos, using a program called fdisk. Just use a 98 start up disk and format and partition your drive as you see fit.make a Dos prime, that will be your C:. then make an extended, then crate a logical drive within the extened..this will be you D:. Its that simple! Give it a try -drew

Somthing very similar happens to me..and i have never been able to figure it out. Sometimes when i shut my computer down and leave it off for a while(over nite). When i hit the switch the computer starts up, but my moniter will stay in suspend mode. To fix this i just hit the power switch in the back off and on then i start it up again and then the moniter starts with the system. I have no idea why this happens.
