it would be nice to create a partition where to install os and this should be primary. and second i choose logical. actually i have 3 partition created with partition magic 8: 1. primary used for winxp 2. logical ntfs called by moi media partition 3. logical ntfs called data partition.

i dont know why u have problems. i disable wga addon and wu is working perfect... also i have multiple xpcds and my xp install is genuine. but i tested on my virtual machine a pirated copy and like i said everything work peerfect after disable wga.....

udma 6 means ata133.

there are 2 files with that name in the asms folder. please tell me what version of xp u using so i can send u the file.....

there are no problems deleting that files.....

then it means your mobo doesn't support udma 6......

go for amd 64.....

hey guys, i am trying to make an installer of wmp10 with all updates slipstreamed but i got into some problems. all new files that are in my pack are not signed by ms as long as i dont add the .cat files. does anyone know how to deal with .inf and .cat files?

it seems that u have some problems with drivers. u can try to uinstall in safe mode and then see if if your pc starts. but i say that u should make a fresh install slipstreaming sp2 and all postsp2 updates via nlite.
