first of all u have to download the latest drivers for the peripherals that don't work. then install each driver manually. ooops i got other ideea slipstream sp2 into xp cd and make a clean install maybe it will recognize after install.

man read the article and u will understand. ht is made by intel not by amd. hipertransport is just a tehnology that improves work between cpu and memory. and yes they have 1 cpu but windows shows 2 or if u have 2 cpus win shows 4.

like i said it doesn't matter. so u can have a cd with xp no service packs and slipstream directly sp2 or u can have a cd with sp1 and also u can slipstream sp2. the only difference will be that if u install it with no reduction(use nlite) ypur windows folder will be a little bigger. ps i recomand slipstream sp with xp cd. will save a lot of space.

same thing. i did try it. if u want to make your cd smaller u can use nlite to remove useless programs from windows.

u r right. it is a commercial program. but the demo is just doing the job reseting the admin pass.

there is also a program made by passware look in here: http://www.lostpassword.com/windows-xp-2000-nt.htm. only problem is that it does not recover the lost pass only reset the admin pass.
