Go to ewido.com and download the software. Update it but dont run it. Then go into safe mode, run the software and see what happens.

You could have temporarily installed windows xp in another folder, backed up your data and then reinstalled from the OEM setup.

I think you find out all the names of the porno sites and add it to your HOSTS file. That is one. Another is...dont go to porn sites...or install a firewall....that checks for incoming and outgoing packets.

Yeah coming from a background in UK english, it was quite weird to see Americans spelling so differently...but it does make sense why not have the u in colour...apparently the setllers here despite speaking English wanted to be as different from their english roots as is possible and hence they struck out the u for example in a lot of words. You wont need scsi. Just any old pc should do the trick. I would not venture too far from a p3 however for performance reasons. Any hard drives work....basically if XP runs on something chances are UNIX will as well.

I think it would depend on the kind of CPU you have. I have a 3.4 ghz HT Intel (yuck) and mine only gooes up to 7%.

Agreed but it is nowhere near DDR1 is it? See it would be a lot easier if modern P4s were able to work with DDRs like AMDs and then perhaps my point would be illustrated. But if you go to Anandtech and check out the Yonah preview article there is a table indicating how many cpu cycles are wasted as memory is accessed and Intel's performance is not good at all with DDR2 whereas AMD smoke the Intel processors.
