The ipconfig changes the network ID not the Internet IP that other people will see...isnt it? I mean if you look at your computer on your network it will prob have a generic IP like 192.168.x.x but the IP provided from the ISP would be something different like 69.25.12.44 for an example right?
Informative post. I used bluetooth once on my laptop to connect to another mac laptop and it worked like a charm. All I had to to do was to turn on a service that I ususally leave turned off when I am not using BT and voila the icon appeared and everything and it worked quite fine. I am gonna upgrade to the BT 2.0 specs soo enough.
It was either SP2 or just all of the windows updates, not sure which and I'm not going to try it all over again to determine which it was. Hahaha I wouldnt either.
Yeah I know exactly what you mean rotjong. I learnt my own way of typing as well. I cant type like the pros do haha. I read somewhere that dvorak style of keyboard enables you to reach your fastest typing speeds since it restricts finger travel thus you hit the keys that are used most commonly when typing a lot quicker. The curresnt style of keyboard was apparently designed to stop typists from jamming up their keyboards in the old days of mechanical typewriters.
http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets/showdoc.aspx?i=2668 Impressive but I wonder how a similar clocked dual core Opteron would do in the same benchmarks!
Well I can see the prices dropping with the coming of Dothan on the scene. And there are prob going to be some AMD Turion based laptops as well. I would go with an XPS2 if possible. Or get a sager notebook with an AMD in it.
What does a pagefile have to do with he fact that you have a dual core cpu? And why would you need such a large pagefile in the first place? The only thing I can think of is the amount of thrashing that can potentially take plce.
