    SetDisplayConfig , DisplayConfigGetDeviceInfo, QueryDisplayConfig, GetDisplayConfigBufferSizes are very evil and hard to replace . K32GetProcessImageFileNameW could try to replace with the one from my tutorial GetModuleFileNameA. And you need to filter out and use only the absolutely needed files . You won't do videoencoding on that weak GPU anyways. So no need for the references to mfplat and throw out amdh264enc32.dll & amdh265enc32.dll to the garbage. Tha "_s" crap , that's what they call "secure" crap ,lol, was introduced by MS in win7 is usually easy to replace. by simply removing the "_s" , in 99 percent of the cases. EDIT . And again , you and your friend Bob, Kasumi , read the description of what each of these files does .

    Weird problem just out of the blue. Suddenly chrome 81 can't summon the save dialog (explorer window) for any file I try to save. 360 Explorer can . I'm using the new kernel in local mode. What I did recently , before it happened . Installed the 377 driver and everything was fine . Just noticed this today , so I rolled back to the famous 376 , but the problem didn't go away . What to check ? Thanks.

    @win32 , I mean I want to do the same for Vista , but patch not only the shell32 , but also everywhere , to remove the bloody 255 255 255 colour . As you can see , his background still has the blindingly white colour , while the left half is patched with the good dark tone in his shell32. Will you help me ? Thanks . Why do I ask here ?     Didn't work , unfortunately and nothing helps me to install. Only this bloody "uh-oh" message every time from the UXStyle installer.

    You mean the "test mode" watermark on Windows , like when you want to load your own drivers ? Usually it is done by RemoveWatermark 20090509.

    I totally agree with you ! This piece of crap UXStyle is an astonishingly bad pile of garbage . It refused to even instal with the famous moronic "uh-oh" . Just google" uxstyle uh-oh " you will get 1000000000 results. Do you know a good alternative ? Thanks very much . I mean apart from patching the windows Vista files .

    Totally agree , they just make no sense at all. Win32 , could you please tell me how to change the white Vista UI to some neutral or dark colour ? I mean the 255 255 255 . Need a quick solution without the use of the 3rd party themes. Because I have to make clean installs of the system quite often when testing the drivers , etc.

    In that case you can finally try out my favourite quadro driver 376.84 from the tutorial, I tested it on a kepler card GTX780Ti . Should work fine with your GTX650 since it's also a kepler.

    1 - And is it needed for Vista ? I usually replace all that crap with blanks in the installer , along with OpenGL , OpenCL and never noticed anything not working. I don't even know what that is . 2 - Oh , I see , do you need this GL for your own programmes ? 3- Do you want me to go out and purchase that thing , I mean the weirdly over-popularized piece of crap G1030 ? I can do it , we have it at our local hard shop for about 130 Euro. It was like 70 a couple of years back. Over-priced pile of garbage , if you ask me , but I'm willing to make that sacrifice for the sake of our testings , no probs.

MS docs wcsncpy_s is just a more "secure" version of wcsncpy , but doesn't look that simple .

    Thank you for your support ! All I tried to say , I've been observing quite a big bunch of folks wanted newer drivers for Vista and after I ported them - silence. Which leads me to assume they are satisfied with the latest ported version 377.83 from 2018. Yes , I read the one quesion about 411.xx but we need testers with proper hardware , some skills and time, and it looks like there's none , like you said.

    The first driver (official) for G1030 was 382.16 . And it has the dreaded wcsncpy_s which is quite hard to replace. It seems simple in theory and on paper, but when you try to boot the PC - BSOD. So you may try your luck with the 377.83 because it has support for a similar low spex 2GB card - GT1050 .

As for 13.5 , it's obsolete for me in France for over than 0.5 year , at least. Can't shop , can't get discounts at my gym website , etc. But when I politely suggested (not directly) maybe it's time to update the version , remember the reaction ? * I asked in another thread, not here.

    Dave , it's not a complete mess , but it looks more like if you just switched the java script off. Works fine on chrome 104. This is exactly the same situation with my gym website. EDIT: I also tried MiniBrowser (chrome 87) and the same "mess".

    You may try to mod the latest 377.83 and check it for yourself . Follow the guide. Some say it won't work . Some say it may.
