My Browser Builds (Part 3)
XPerceniol replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
You beat me to it - nothing happens in my default 360v11 - nor serpent 52. Starting to look like we have have to start using v13 and that struggles on my systems. -
Well said and so much negativity and hostility in this world now. So easy to be mean and hard to be nice ... should be the opposite.

I'll admit, I've not followed this all that well unless I read something on here; but I will say, after seeing this, there is a huge difference between autism and personality disorder and the latter is what we are seeing. I've never had any dealing with him or MC in any way, but its always been (to me) very hostile and not at all welcoming which is why I avoided that forum. I'll stay here and am glad them don't know me and wouldn't want to. Sort of makes me wonder, how long firefox based browsers will continue.

Interesting read ... thank you for sharing that. Honestly and truthfully, somebody once told me being unstable in an unstable world is "normal" and I sort of remember that, I don't know. What is a "disorder" "Issue" "Illness" having any basis on get through our day to day happenings if they are not causing us distress?! If I carried around my (so called) diagnosis's then I would be considered "unwell" in society. Admittedly, I'm pretty removed from society (a hermit) and extremely isolated nowadays and my OCD and Anxiety have made good things (outcomes) that wouldn't have been that case had I not 'labeled' as "Ill" ... those labels, while can help us to better understand what make up out spirit and being and consciousness and awareness, we'd see ourselves as damaged. It what brings us pain and interferes that is what needs to be addressed. I hope that made some sense. Will try to edit if I can better explain. Even in a depressive cycle makes us see where we need to be and if not for the darkness we'd never know the light. sorry, hope that made sense. If not, please ignore and chalk it up to a total nut ramble. Honestly, I would ever want to be (whatever this) "Normal" is people are seeking and jumping through hoops to shape themselves into what society pushes.

True word spoken or written ... the internet is bloated with horrible script nowadays. I hope he will be alive ... will keep him in my thoughts and put out positive energy.
-
I hope he is alive and somehow surviving.
-
I always disable WebGL and wasm and hopefully he can either include some of 30 in our 28. I feel like it would be more bloat and I like slim and light - just my preference.

My Browser Builds (Part 3)
XPerceniol replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
Yeah, will be wondering myself as most of use couldn't run it on our old computers. Am I too old to skateboard at almost 50? Would somebody (kindly) point me to this "fountain of youth" I hear of. In contrast: On this (Dell Dimension 3000 ... very slow) the only browsers that will run (somewhat) ok(ish) is Arctic Fox and New Moon; while on my Dell Optiplex, your 360 V11 is my default 2nd to Serpent. I only fire this thing up a few times a year to keep it going, but wouldn't be able to use it to do much. -

XPerceniol replied to roytam1's topic in Browsers working on Older NT-Family OSes
Quick question(s) re new moon and Serpent and Arctic Fox as well, perhaps. Due to the fact that I have limited resource (especially in this Dell dimension 3000 - Pentium 4 - 1Gb Ram) I have webm disabled other than: media.mediasource.webm.audio.enabled - true (default) Do you guys feel changing mediasource prefs would improve things as: media.mediasource.webm.enabled;false is default anyway. Thanks in advance for any advice. Take good care PS: Only because one of the 2 1Gb sticks went bad and I had to remove and tweak the heck out the system for only 1 Gb! @roytam1 ... any plans to continue Arctic Fox browser? You'll be my hero The latest version I use, Is, Build ID 20211012013036 -

Yeah, I'm basically doing the opposite and relying on the software settings seeing as I have an awful graphics card and my computer is held together with duct tape and super glue Actually, I had to press f1 for help the other day, and ... I got a box warning that read: -
