are you overclocked at all?

and you can see it in the bios, right? try setting everything to autodetect in the bios. set the hdd as the 1st boot device. but what the problem most likely is, is your bootsector, the bios cant find where to boot from.

it can fix it, thats what it can do. when you change hdd's that can happen. just give it a try, if it doesnt work then we can move on.

have you tried clearing the cmos?

wont work too well if you get it to work. windows will keep switching between the both of them. the purpose for having 2 ports on a mobo is so that you could set one for online and the other for your network. our you could setup your computer as a router. but i would recommend that you try it out and report back to us, it may work out well but who knows, it all depends on your isp and how your comp is configed. the thing to remeber is to set a static ip address for the 2 ports but make sure that they both have different ip addresses or else you will have a conflict.

i want to be able to open any file with textpad by means of the right click context menu. how can i do this? i know it will be thru the registry but i have to clue what to add and where to put it.

well hes getting a new comp and everything should be getting to him tomorrow, so i cant say yet.

i have an opteron and clockgen doesnt work. i also have windows 64bit edition so memtest doesnt work, thank god that dfi has memtest built into their bios.

one of my friends just got the 500watt rosewill u posted, i told him to get the powerstream but hes on a vry tight budget. definetly get the powerstream if you dont want any problems at all

umm, my pc doesnt bsod. as long as you have compatible drivers it wont bsod.

looks great so far, link please if u can if u want to do any gaming or photoshoping then get 1gig, otherwise 512 is fine.

umm, its raid0 so there is no way to repair the array. if you wanted to transfer all the info to another hdd then you can do that.

well you may be right. i have a tv that is a few years older than me, thats all i have to say. if i had a nice lcd with the high res a/v cable for my xbox, then i may have to reconsider. but in my situation my comp is much much better.

well thats why i never use tech support anymore, you can always find help in a forum if you cant fix it yourself

sound like my sister and mom, they have absolutly no clue what they are doing. the one thing that i hate about tech support is that they always think that you are an average computer using, meaning that you are very stupid. i like to tell them if i ever need help, that i have already done this and that, but they insist on walking me through it, which never works. such as problems with when we first got dsl, and it wouldnt work sometimes so that guy was like, restart your comp, restart the router, unplug everything and plug back in, unplug all the phones in the house. i obviously know that these will not help and all and they didnt, the problem was that we were too far away from the dsl base and were getting a bad signal! i also love the tech support guy who has no clue what he is talking about b/c i am too smart for him.

im with jeremy here, didnt find this funny at all since they are all wrong. you rly need to learn how to properly protect yourself from viruses/adware/spyware, that alone will make windows run well. to make windows run great you need to nlite the hell out of it and disable a bunch of services too, once you've done that then windows will be amazing.
